Have purchased a few items here and they have been great quality and great prices. The employees are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Even though this is an upscale boutique they never make you feel out of your league. I love this place! So many nice pieces all in excellent shape and such a nice selection too! I liked how everything is organized by designer. So much to choose from. All the high end designers are represented. I am a size 8/9ish and a few things were just too small for me which was a bummer but I did find a cute pair of shorts with the original tags still on there. I was greeted with offers of Tea, Coffee or water. So friendly! There is plenty of uncovered parking in their lot too. read more

I'm giving one star for the customer experience alone. I walked in and made eye contact with an employee and was not greeted. After a short while of browsing the rack two women entered the store and were greeted and offered coffee and tea, so I left. I can't spend money at an establishment where the basic customer experience, such a greeting a potential customer, is not equal across the board. My experience was (I believe) with the owner, who was lovely and helpful. I get what people are saying about feeling intimidated to shop luxury ... but let's be honest - much of that can happen because of the high-end merchandise itself, regardless of the sales staff. Our shopping experience with the owner was friendly and felt genuinely assisted. She was available if we needed assistance, she didn't hover and she offered my friend and I a bottle of water or a coffee, which is always a nice touch. Since we don't live in SoCal anymore and are learning the area, she gave me advice where I could take some of my luxury items to get alterations and even had a card for the business. I bought a beautiful luxury bag and will probably try to consign some pieces as well. It feels good to have someplace to go where I can touch/try on a variety of quality pieces. Labels is my go-to for formal attire. I attend between 5-7 galas and balls for work over the course of the year and I've been able to get many of my dresses at Labels. Since we don't have any good options for formal attire in Reno (besides maybe Macys?), Labels has become my go-to. I'm often able to grab a formal dress for less than $100 and with minor alterations, it makes this a better option for me over using Rent the Runway. I always look through the other clothes while I'm in and have been able to grab great professional dresses and little black dresses--all at great prices and even sometimes with original tags still on. At this point I think almost all my professional/dressy attire is from Labels. The staff is usually pretty busy with other things but honestly this doesn't bother me. I want to come in, see what they have, try things on, and get out. Someone is always available to zip something up or down, and gut chuck me on fit and look. I don't ever feel overlooked or ignored. I find the ladies remember the things I've bought over my specific face and I like that too... like they have a connection to the clothes they're selling. If you're looking for formal attire, don't pass up labels... truly a gem in Reno. read more

We were skiing in Tahoe last year, and my girlfriend and I decided to go resale shopping. I'll tell you what...we found so many items we had to send two huge boxes back to Houston because we didn't have any luggage to accommodate. We bought so many cute jackets, great belts, and even a fur coat. Every once in a while, I get an urge to get on a flight and go shop there again. I have a few friends that love to browse and buy from Labels so I decided to give them a try. Labels is a consignment shop that has a wide variety of high end designer brands. I found a cute black leather jacket and a thin black sweater to try on. While browsing all three of the ladies working checked in on me and asked if I wanted a water, tea or coffee as I shopped. While the leather jacket didn't work out the thin black sweater did and it was on sale for 60% off! They have a wide variety of high end shoes and evening wear with everything in between. AMAZING store that is just SO CUTE! And dangerous, because you can easily just want to buy literally everything in the store. They have something for everyone - cute slippers, jammies, cool t-shirts and clothing, stuff for the guys, small trinkets and a great little shoe section. I came here with my little sister, who was a little skeptical...Does customer service get any better than that? I don't think so! She also let me into the fitting room so I could try some pieces, what a phenomenal experience. The staff was kind and seemed like they were accommodating, but there was definitely a weird vibe. I bought a Louis Vuitton purse. The expected price I would pay for a used item. Not a great bargain. The staff pointed out some damage on the strap, but I didn't see it. It looked fine to me. That they knew the damage was there before I bought it then they probably knew that it was being covered up with some kind of black sticky substance that when I put the strap over my favorite white silk blouse, it left stains. I called them, then they told me they would give me a "store credit" which I thought was strange, the item was damaged, it was modified in an inappropriate way and they wanted to give me a store credit? I protested and they told me I needed to come in right then to get a refund which I did. They did not seem concerned with looking at the damage that was done to my blouse, they refunded what I had paid and sent me on my way. I made a comment like they shouldn't receive consignment items from this person, but they didn't seem to care. They made a point try to assure me that they personally wouldn't have done that but they don't seem to have a problem if someone else does it. That's just my conclusion, my opinion , it was my first time to the store and I don't know if I'll go back because I would just as well go to the source and make sure I get something authentically in good shape. When this was my first experience, I'm concerned what my next experience would be. Not willing to pay $1900 for a used item that is beyond damaged. read more

I had such a great experience at this consignment store. Let me tell you why I loved this. They have a lot of designer high end at very reasonable prices, the owner and the staff were all friendly and helpful without any feeling of pressure. Within minutes of walking in so was offered water or other drink options. The store is clean and the displays are nicely done and well organized. I found a couple things I have been looking for and one of the people who works there passed by with some white button downs and said she was just about to put them out for sale but asked if I wanted to look first. I bought one. I also bought a gorgeous classic coach handbag and a hat. I tried on a beautiful pair of blue leather Jason Wu pants that are currently in style. I was instantly greeted by the lovely Blythe, who asked if I wanted any water or tea while I shopped. When I told her and Robbie that it was a week until my wedding, and I didn't have a dress, they sprung into action for me finding every possibility for me and setting me up in their luxurious fitting room. I found 3 pairs of pants and my friend got a dress and a few other things. The prices were very fair based on what these labels cost new. Great shop if you're looking for high-end designer consignment clothes and accessories. I usually pop in once a year to check our their hand bags. They carry great options for black tie events but I've had no reason to get that dressed in 4 years and counting! My most recent visit I went in to consign some bags and shoes. They politely declined most of my items but recommended two other shops in town that might be interested. See Clothes Mentor review for details. The one item they were interested in was my Pucci clutch but it required cleaning. Since I'd never consigned before I thought it was odd that they didn't handle the clean up. They gave me the business card for a speciality dry cleaner. Nice touch! My Pucci clutch sat on my kitchen counter for a day before I started to use it again. I guess it's not ready for consignment. As I continue my purge and find more designer accessories, I'll give them another shot. Since I'm purging I can't go in to shop! read more

I'm writing strictly from a consignee viewpoint. I have always been treated with respect and I have never felt unwelcome in this store even when I am dressed casually. I have been told a couple of times that my item is a bit outdated, and what features to look for when I shop. I appreciated the feedback. I've sold about ten things here over the years. I've always received much more money than I would have if I sold on eBay. I like the fact that I can extend my consignment without fear of them throwing my item away or donating. Fun find! Read the reviews and decided to find out for myself. Here are my thoughts: Service: A ten. Very sweet women working there; helpful but not hovering. Selection: Yep, they got the fancy stuff. Chanel, St. John, Escada, Eileen Fisher, and on. Some less high-end but still desirable like J. Crew. I like unusual things and found lots that would appeal to a younger, funky dresser. Also quite a bit that would appeal to, er, women of a certain age. Gold detailing and lots of shoulder pads, if you catch my drift. Prices. I travel a lot for work and like to hit up high/end consignment stores in stylish cities like Boston, Savannah, South Beach, etc. I thought Labels' prices were a bit high compared to other similar shops. I get that they're a small business and not a charity but I can't help but think they'd move more merch were it more of a bargain which, after all, is what we're hoping to find. Went to Labels looking for a prom dress. Boy, we were surprised of the selection of evening wear. My daughter found 4 dresses she wanted to try on and on the third dress she found her perfect dress! I was delighted with the dress, it was beautiful plus at $129 it was meant to be. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything here is overpriced and for old women. I don't care if it's designer, it's from the 90s....gross. I stopped by one weekend morning on my way to the gym and the sales staff ignored me completely. Probably because I'm under 60. The clothes are so overpriced. They do have a lot of suits here which is why I went there but again they are all from the 90s and for a 60+ crowd.
