There had been a recent snowfall so the lake was completely covered with snow. It was like being in a magical land without any noise. It was so quiet as we walked around. We hardly saw anyone out. I'm sure it's a bustling spot in the spring and summer and we look forward to coming back here.

Even beyond the waterside views, however, the park itself provides a nice green space with opportunities for tranquility in spite of the crowds of people who visit at any given time. The lakeside walking path is often full of joggers, walkers and cyclists. But that should absolutely not be a deterrence. It's a wonderful place to chill for a while, especially on a nice weather day.
