At first I was a bit shocked. Not a computer in the place, not at reception, not in any office and everything done the old fashioned way, paper records. When I have an appointment in Whiting my medical record is transferred from his Lacy office to this one. When I walked into the office I was thrown back into my childhood, the 60's, noticing the old style medicine cabinet and a desk. I can say with not a doubt in my mind this has been the finest doctor and staff I've ever visited in my 56 years. I have MS, diabetes and many spine surgeries so I've seen a lot. The Doctor's staff, and I mean every one, is not only super professional but it is so obvious that the entire team cares about one thing... your good health and care. Dr. Crisan is bang on every single time. Several months ago I was in a lot of pain and really pretty sick. Dr. Crisan was right on top of it and began his process of eliminating what it could be by a serious of tests whereas we found a Common Bile Duct Stone. The Doctor's staff worked like lighting to get my insurance referrals and then transferred my records to the Gastro Doctor without delay. Again, the best doctor and staff I've ever had. Give me old school with extensive knowledge and a kind anytime. You can't go wrong here.

I couldn't get an appt to see him for 1 full month and he's supposed to be my primary dr. When I got there I waited for 1 hr before I walked out upset that I was still waiting to be seen. His staff told me he was dealing with people with bigger issues than mine. If that's the case the don't have me wait for over an hr to be seen. And learn to book your clients better. I shouldn't have to wait a month to see my primary dr and I should not have been treated the way I was while waiting to be seen

Shame on this doctor and her assistant! My 73 year old mother was a patient here until yesterday…read more She will no longer be going back! In January she asked Dr. Tubilleja for a TB test so she could volunteer at her granddaughter's school. She explained to the doctor why she wanted the TB test. She could have gotten one at any CVS clinic for next to nothing, but she was already right there in the office. At Dr. T's office she would have been charged $40 for a TB test by LabCorp, the lab that fulfills their orders. Well, Dr. T did not order a TB test. Instead she sent my mother to get blood drawn for a QuantiFERON TB GOLD. My mother never having had a TB test before did as her doctor told her to and got her blood drawn thinking that was a TB test. LabCorp sent my mother a bill for $227! Insurance of course would not cover such an extensive screening for TB. Why should they? When we called Dr. T to discuss what happened, she first blamed the insurance for not covering it and then blamed the high bill on LabCorp and said they took advantage of my elderly mother. She took no responsibility what-so-ever. When I called LabCorp back they explained that they simply perform the test the doctor orders. They do not have a relationship with the patient so they could not possibly know what test to perform. They simply do as they are ordered. LabCorp has a dedicated number for each of their doctors so that if a doctor is uncertain of a charge, they can pick up the phone and get a cost ASAP. The supervisor said there is no way a doctor wouldn't know that there is an obvious cost difference between an extensive blood test and a simple TB test. They were as shocked as I was that Dr. T ordered what she did and then refused to take responsibility. I called the doctor's office the following morning and spoke with Kelly. She couldn't have been ruder to me. I went out of my way to calmly describe what LabCorb was telling me. Not only was she not sympathetic for the mistaken test and consequential costs, but she was mad at me for calling! She said I had already called once and spoken to the doctor and there was nothing more to say about it. I asked her several times to just have Dr. T call me back so I could explain what LabCorp had said, but she just kept reiterating that it was not their fault. Dr. T never did call me back. So so sad that there are doctors out there taking advantage of elderly patients!

I am a veteran that typically uses the VA for my care but for convenience I always have a civilian…read moredoctor as well. My first visit with Dr. Barry was weird and not helpful. She pawned everything I needed help with on another doctor. After leaving my appointment I felt no closer to a path of health than before I went in. Anyone that knows the VA knows that they are difficult to make contact with or get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. I called Dr. Barry's office to ask for a prescription, only for 30 days, because I am going out of town in less than a week and have been unable to make contact with the VA and she denied me help. It is not a narcotic or any pain medication, it is for stomach discomfort. I was already not happy with my visit so this lack of help from her has made me never want to go back. She was very standoffish and not that I cared to be touched by strangers her "examination" was very minimal.
