Back in September I called them up spoke to Chris(the owner) and had him come out for a quote. All went well, he seemed nice and accepted his price he quoted my wife and I and payed him what he requested in order to buy the 2 Granite slabs that day. We agreed he would have it done 3 weeks later, and signed the quote and he left. This is where "red flags" started shooting out at me. He was all tattooed up, meaning his face, above eyes, neck, all over arms but decide to look past that. Over the next 2 weeks there was times he ghosted me, didn't respond to texts, or calls, or return my calls, again I looked past it as he is maybe a startup company or he was busy. Coming up on the deadline he kept saying he's still doing fabrication to my slabs, I thought 2.5 weeks later really, and again looked past it, even after he would ghost me for hours on a given day, or for 2-3 days at a time. Then Chris randomly hits me up and says we can install tomorrow and it will now cost more for the Iron braces for my kitchen island, even after I was quoted for that, again I assume he's going to take care of me and my granite install. He shows up with his crew the day prior to the deadline which was a house party, and starts to install 3.5 hrs late and kept texting me all morning he was coming soon. That was a week into October. So my wife and I were stuck cleaning till 1am for the house party cause they had finished really late. And that's when I started to noticed issues... -granite wasn't attached to the cabinets I could pull up small areas without resistance, again he said he had sealed them on. - kitchen island had a 3/8" gap between the iron braces and the granite(they are meant to support the granite) they just stuck a wood shim on top of every bracket. -the sinks I had purchased through Chris were mounted sloppy as told to me by multiple plumbers from a solid plumbing company. -their plumber Chris had me go through to have my brand new faucets installed also didn't install 3 of them correctly(1 didn't work, 1 was mounted Crooked, and one had the wrong pipe used under the sink. He quoted me a great price. But Cost me almost 400$ more after I paid their plumber to have A&A plumbing come in and fix it. As he already took the payment after saying it was completed. - the Granite company didn't pick up our old counters and vanities which I had already paid for. -Chris and his crew joked way to much with me while they were installing. A little is fine and cool man but after the 11th time saying one of your guys have to poo poo and granite can be stretched literally made me think I can't take you serious anymore. -etc Fast forward just over a month, a week into November Chris the owner randomly texts me after days of trying to get him to fix the center kitchen island saying he is in route now. Luckily I am retired and was at home to let his crew in. But he said he need another 400$ for 5 more longer iron brackets for the island. And only installed 4 of them and didn't refund me for the 5th or the 4 previous paid for iron brackets now sitting in my garage. The island got remount great the second time. But still left without taking the old counters and vanities on the side of my back yard. Finally a month and a half after the original install date of October, he still ghosts my messages and no answers my calls to pick up the trash he left in my yard and refund me the extra charges. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, BAD COMMUNICATION, LIES, NOT ONTIME TO ANYTHING ACCEPT TO GET PAYMENT, CHARGED ME 400$ EXTRA FOR WHAT I ALREADY PAID FOR, SLOPPY INSTALL OF NEW SINKS, LEFT LOTS OF TRASH IN MY YARD. Once we agreed to use their services I was immediately called by Sam for laser measurements. Sam came on 6/18. On 6/21 was contacted and told that they could install on 6/26 however we were not available so install was scheduled for 6/30. Was emailed days before install with exact instructions on preparing for the install. The day of the install received notification that Jesse and his team were on their way. Install was so easy. Jesse and his crew were extremely respectful and polite and cleaned up everything before leaving. When I came down to look at where the seam on the countertop was I very pleased that there was not a seam especially since we were told they would have to put a seam. Love my countertops. The entire process was so easy. Every person involved is extremely professional and did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time each time. In addition, Greg provided recommendation for tile and they too were very professional and prompt. Most importantly I felt safe and comfortable with everyone involved. All workers wore masks as well.

We have worked with Megan so far and she has been outstanding! Very responsive, answers all my questions, and took us on a little tour of their workshop today to show us items currently being worked on as well as the few items they have in their showroom. We will be setting up a time for their guy to come by and take firm measurements of our office door opening so they can work up a basic design drawing for us in order to finalize the design itself and pricing. Another company we contacted wanted us to sign a contract with them before they would create a design drawing for us, which made us a bit uncomfortable, so it's refreshing that PorteUSA is willing to give that little bit extra before making a customer sign on the dotted line! I will say that their showroom and workroom are in need of some serious TLC, though. Their showroom should be full of beautiful, well finished examples of their work, but it has a very slap-dash feel to it. I got the feeling they threw up the buildings pretty quickly when they bought the property a few years ago so they could get right to work, but it is definitely time to really show what you can do and create an awe-inspiring area for potential clients to come in and really have the WOW moment, you know? I'm not taking off any stars for this, though, since you can see their high quality fit & finish from the porfolio pics on their site as well as from customer photos on google reviews. As it was a new home build, the door frame went in months before the glass. Six of the glass panes…read morewere subsequently scratched by the builder's cleaning crew. Five of those panes have since been replaced. One more to go. Unfortunately, four different glass sections have started to develop a haze between the dual panes. This is not unusual and always is a result of the dual panes not being properly sealed. Porteusa tells me the windows are warranted for 10 years so this should be a non issue. The windows have been installed for 5 months. However, even with the 10 warranty they are trying to walk away and telling the builder that's it's normal. Take a look for yourself. Then you determine for yourself if you want to put your $20K into their product. I've not given up hope that they eventually do the right thing. Hopefully, I get a chance to update this review and increase my rating.

They blamed the supplier for the poor job. These guys are a SCAM, stay away. 60 days later and my floor is starting to bubble and pop. Clint said he'd come by, but never showed and now claims he's a victim. They refuse to honor their 10 year warranty. Unfortunately I will have to sue them.
