Read before going to Brandy. BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL!…read more I don't even know where to start. I am in Louisiana visiting from out of town for the holidays and with the help of Yelp I found Brandy. Brandy and I spoke through text messages and at my consultation about what I wanted. I posted our text messages so you could read her real feelings about her customer's satisfaction. Or in my case read how she really felt about the work she charged me $260 for FULL HIGHLIGHTS!.. Enjoy the awkwardness of her text messages that I know she intended for someone else to read outside of myself. Mind blowing! You would think this was a movie but this really did happen and it sucks being on the receiving end, for a hair stylist to knowingly admit (well, to someone else not the actual client) via text message that she knows she owes me more highlights and to add insult to injury never responding to her client's messages to at least say, I dunno maybe, "Shit wrong person." I took a screen shot of her insulting comments and forwarded them directly back to her, like her 'Jesus take the wheel' message. Surprise! No response from her. I even asked her for a partial refund. Guess? To easy... No response. I even tried to give her an opportunity to make things right. Nothing. I wasn't going to post a review because I felt bad. But afterwards I confided with several people what took place and what it boiled down to was what happened to me was unethical. It would have been negligent in my part not saying anything at all. It took Brandy 10 hours to highlight my hair. My appointment was at 10 am and I left her salon a little after 8 pm. My hair looked about the same from the time I saw her on the day of my consultation and the day she did my hair. I did not have the chance to have my hair highlighted back home, due to traveling; once the dust settled for me and I had the opportunity to re-search stylist on Yelp and various other social media platforms, Brandy was one of the few stylist I had reached out to. At first Brandy came across, as if, she genuinely cared about my hair and making sure I left happy. She was fun to talk too, I felt like I had known her for a while. The vibe she gave off was awesome! And that is why it has been hard for me to post this, because I truly believed Brandy. I trusted her with my hair. She basically robbed me of $260 for FULL HIGHLIGHTS and a root bump. And she robbed me of my time as well. She wanted to charge me $360 and I was uncomfortable with that price. So Brandy explained another process for her to go about doing on my hair to get the same look at an efficient price. Brandy seemed confident and had me excited. Brandy even spoke with my hair stylist from California (who has been doing my hair for the last 10 years now) to go over what my current stylist has been doing over the last 10 years I did leave my consultation feeling relieved and thinking I was in good hands.
