It's typical price point is out of my range. Their stuff is beautiful from suits ot rain coats, ties, shirts and belts. I purchased two suits(one wool super 150's and the other a blend of super 150's wool and I think a little cashmere and silk for a lighter suit) and couldn't be happier with the quality and fit. My understanding is that the store has its own master tailor right there. The suits are of a beautiful quality and they fit me perfectly. The service was my favorite kind - completely not "salesy" just very knowledgeable and helpful. Also, they turned around my alterations in a week. wow. This was a completely different experience than buying from Macy's/ or Bloomingdale's where I've never had much confidence that I was getting a great suit that fit just right. I recommend Pravda to anyone who can afford top quality.. also, I think the suit sale will continue for a couple more weeks. If you are budget conscious, but want a high quality suit, this is the place.

This is a supremely well curated store that carries Comme des Garcons, Dries, Anne Demeulemeester, and Junya among others. Their website does not do the selection in the store any justice - probably at least 60-70% larger - and you are better off visiting in person and placing yourself in the capable hands of the staff who will make sure you walk out significantly less Brooks Brothers/Jcrew-dorky than when you walked in. They will probably take umbrage with this, but we feel like the selection for the ladies has been more interesting - all the better, as the significant other should always be seen wearing beautiful things.

I couldn't resist the unique designs, workmanship, or incredible sale! The customer service was great, too. Gilles, the owner and designer of The Face, was sweet and very helpful with helping me select the correct sizes. I was surprised to see that women's booties and the art on display were also for sale. The edgy, yet tasteful, artistic combination of rock 'n roll music, art, and fashion as well as the warm and welcoming staff will definitely draw me back again!

And I never quite had the gall to review this place for fear of others knowing I sometimes drop in and buy what's on trend, if I like what I see. Now, after the major re-up, post-Sandy disaster, Dijon has moved one store down, and literally downsized to about half the space it used to have. The trade-off with this however, is a better organized, more streamlined store, and the shopping experience is boosted as a result. The window display is actually very inviting now, and looks like they hired a visual merchandising decorator or something. Before, you'd feel like you were shopping at the 99 cent store of clothing stores, but now, it actually feels like a boutique. Sort of. I did come in last night and buy three tops, and altogether it was less than $35. I mean, where does that happen anymore? Don't get me wrong, I love me my Forever21, but Dijon is a little more forgiving in terms of the sizes they have, being more womanly for those of us whose hips don't lie (thank you for that song, Shakira). They have name brands here, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the tags are usually ripped off or crossed out with what appears to be black ink from a Sharpie. That's cool Dijon, I ain't mad at ya. If you can get me LOFT, Banana Republic, GAP, etc for 1/5th the price, go ahead and tear up all the tags inside the clothes, I'm fine with that. Even if some items are out of season, or fit a little oddly, as they sometimes do, the store makes up for it, by trying its best to stay on trend and keep things fresh. Whenever I feel like getting new duds for a trip or vacation, I'm not against shopping here to get something that might not last forever, but is the flavor of the season and will look cute on me for all intents and purposes. They have a shoe section, which is akin to shopping at Target with how everything is laid out and displayed, but here again, they do carry name brands at attractive prices, so it's kind of pretty sweet, though the actual selection can sometimes be hit or miss. A lot of FiDi women shop here, and really no one is against saving some money, and that's why Dijon has lasted all these years. I've seen it.

De Janeiro/Dijon is a closeout clothing haven!! Banana Republic, Nine West, Gap, etc... Regular clothes in well-known brands are marked down 50-90%. Stuff may be from the previous season, or they may be from YEARS ago - as in the case of a Banana Republic blazer I snagged for $25, original price $240. From the 2010 season, but who the hell cares? If you're like me, you'll jump for glee when you see the label inside the collar markered over or cut out. Yay steep discounts! Head back frequently to check what's new in stock. Be prepared to swim through oceans of badly made clothes that are a waste of fabric.

Located in SoHo and two stories. Love their quick checkout using smart bins, where you drop all your clothes into a box at the register and an instant total rings to check out. No need to scan barcodes one by one. Quick tip: check the lower level in the back for clearance items. Also GU clothes run small for tighter items, so you may need to go one size up. I'd be ecstatic if the next US GU location will be in the West Coast (California hint hint:):)

I never attended a listening party so pretty much Mac 哥哥 popped my cherry hehe =) When I finally arrived at Alife, there was a dude stopping me from going in but later on people were leaving. I told him that China Mac asked me to come then he let me in. Alife has a cool outdoor space to host events/parties like China Mac's tonight. Damn, there was a lot of chopiis (fans) along with his close friends that pull up to his listening party.
