They are in network with United healthcare Medicaid but when you call as a new patient they tell you they are not contracted. Canceled her appointment and said they placed a sick child in the appointment slot and that I can reschedule. I already rearranged my schedule to have the appointment I made. Then dismissed me from the practice when I asked to speak to someone higher up about the unprofessionalness. Don't even waste your time trying to establish a long term pediatrician.

The current reviews on here are so misleading, that we didn't want to try, but are SO happy we did! Being new parents, trusting your baby's doctor is so important and I can confidently say that we feel so comfortable with Volusia Pediatrics. They have taken such good care of our daughter for almost 3 months now and are super attentive, have great communication, and the staff is so friendly. We have seen Dr. Garcia and Ann Schlaefer so far and love both of them! We are so happy we didn't listen to any negative reviews.
