Wife and I are both nurses. we have both worked as wound care nurses before. I am not saying it was Dr C's fault, but we did do aftercare to the letter, and were very proactive with treatment, monitored drains and dressing changes, and notified the team promptly when complications developed. The infection that caused her sepsis was in the surgical incision site. Do what you will with this information.

I was excited about the procedure until I was laying on the table during the procedure wide awake with nothing besides a xanax to ease the pain of liposuction being done on my back an arms which was ridiculous to start off since I should of been given something to knock me out at least more than a lousy xanax becuz I felt everything that was done the entire time I was in excruciating pain and was in total shock becus I was told I would be in no pain an it would be a non invasive surgery which was a complete lie considering I could barely even move without feeling so much pain for at least a week straight I literally was miserable and couldn't sleep for three nights straight from how much pain I was in! it was a total nightmare to say the least! the doctor was so unprofessional as he took at least four breaks during my procedure so he could call his wife about her dog that had ran away that morning and had to send her flowers as well which was done during that same time. I was in complete shock when he acted like my surgery was no big deal the entire time! the staff literally couldn't even get blood from my vein an four different girls tried an failed as well as the doctor but only ended up getting maybe a single syringe of blood an gave up, so the fat they got obviously died since it didn't have the correct amount of blood to keep it alive but that was also no big deal and was ignored also as they paid no mind to the matter! I am totally disturbed and depressed at how the results turned out! my back an arms look so much worse than they did before the surgery and now I have the ugliest rolls on both arms and back now that I never had before. now I look like a fat ass with huge fat rolls that are in the strangest places on my back and to top it off my ass looks no different than before but I now have huge lumps on my upper arms and extra fat rolls on my lower back now that makes me look ridiculous in shirts that show my back! It sucks so bad paying 10000 dollars just so I can look an feel 10 times worse than I did before ever going to belle medical! He performed my liposuction back in May and he did not performed the flank fold area like we agreed during consultation which still look the same after 6 months post treatment. I had to wear the compression garment 24hr a day/everyday for 3 months straight and when i come back for another consultation they have a new doctor. It was confirm by their new Doctor which is Dr. Blatchford that Dr. Mitchell did not perform the flank fold area which you can see in these images below and if i want to get the area retreat i have to pay another $4,000 because they have a newer machine and technique that Dr. Blatchford brought into the office. Or if i want to get it retreat by Dr. Mitchell i will have to come to OKC because he is relocated, other than that there is nothing they can do about it. Please be aware of Belle Medical because it's not a guarantee that you will lose your fat or will get the area you want to be treated and do your search about your cosmetic surgoen. Dr. Mitchell was on probation in 2021 because he was under influenced of drugs while caring for patients and had been reported to the oklahoma medical stare board.
