I did onsite visits and background and reference checks on multiple facilities--Kids Corner was stellar all around. We were with Kids Corner until my son was 4.5 and we had the best experience. I always knew my son was safe and being looked after with love. Stephanie followed my crazy nap schedule and requests when my son was a baby and I felt beyond lucky to have someone work with me to make sure my son was getting exactly what he needed. As my son began to age he would participate in circle time and learning activities -- all of which helped prepare him for pre-K. Stephanie and Brittany worked hard to provide a safe, loving, fun, and educational environment. My only regret is that my son couldn't stay longer. It's so hard to find good child care with people that truly care about your child. I can't recommend Kids Corner enough and I hope if you find yourself looking for child care that you're lucky enough to work with Stephanie and Brittany.

She is so good with Calvin and you can see how much he loves her when we drop him off in the morning. I have seen her interact with all the kids she has in her daycare and each of them are very connected with her. She is a calm, loving presence and Cal has developed so well while being there! My son had a shadow in TK. He has a mild autism diagnosis. His shadow worked on social skills goals…read morewith him. He didn't (still doesn't) have any sort of behavioral problems. Honestly if you didn't know him and you observed the class you probably wouldn't notice anything. He really just needed some help with making friends and building language skills. One day his shadow was out sick and the director at the Ladera Ranch location said he could not come to school when his shadow was out. A shadow that we provided and bc of his diagnosis our insurance funded. She wasn't flexible at all. He couldn't come make up the time he missed on other days. I was even willing to drop him off and sit in the parking lot just in case they wanted me to pick him up early (would not have been needed) and she wouldn't allow that. I paid for so many days in which the director wouldn't let him attend. In addition, other kids in the class aggressed towards him. I have "ouch reports" in his file at home. He never once retaliated or aggressed towards others. He's literally the sweetest. Very disappointing. He's currently thriving in mainstream kindergarten.

The school provides three meals a day, with quality and organic foods, which is a huge help for working parents. The school director, Maria, is very dedicated and caring; she not only runs multiple schools but oversees the teachers and works with the kids through an individual approach, knowing their unique talents and strengths. Most importantly, the school takes its time to ensure that the personnel and staff are qualified and truly care about the kids. We were also testing out the facility to see if our children liked it and we were comfortable moving them to the location. When the Pandemic hit we pulled the kids from school and held our enrollment. Nov 2020 we enrolled the kids and we couldn't be happier. The staff has not changed even during the Pandemic which is such a wonderful thing for not only the children but staff as well. They take every precaution to keep our children safe. I was worried about leaving him with someone new, and thought for sure she would turn him back in to me at the end of the first week with a "dear john" letter. Instead, she cared for him like a pro and he absolutely loves Diana!! Since it's a smaller daycare, my little one gets lots of personal attention and I love that he now has a strong relationship with Diana. Overall, I think Diana does a great job keeping the infants she cares for well occupied - from tummy time, to mirror time, to puppet time, she gives them lots of variety so they never get bored. I also love that she has a mobile app that she uses to send me updates throughout the day. I can see when my son has eaten, slept, and played. We are first time parents and the thought of sending our 16 week old to daycare was nerve-wracking, to say the least. We met with a few different providers, and in the end felt an instant connection with Diana and did not hesitate choosing her for our childcare needs. The daycare is small and intimate, with only 3 children total. We receive updates all day long via e-mail and it is so nice to feel connected to our daughter even when apart. She reports statuses on eating, diaper changes, nap times, and even sends a couple pictures of our daughter playing every single day. Diana definitely spends a lot of one-on-one time with each child and pays close attention to any and all changes in behavior patterns, eating patterns, and even diaper rashes, bumps, bruises, etc. She engages them all day from playing games, to practicing milestones such as sitting, stretching for crawling, eye/hand coordination, and much, much more. In addition, Diana is committed to following your schedule if you have one. We have a consistent feeding and napping schedule and Diana is happy to work with us, while ensuring the schedule is modified when needed to ensure our daughter is getting what she needs. Lastly, on a personal note, Diana is just a pleasure to work with. She always has a smile on her face, is willing to take time to answer any questions and talk about the day, and just provide support as we navigate being first time parents and working full-time. We cannot say enough about her and how she treats our daughter. Diana has become a critical component to our family and we cannot imagine not having her take care of our child.
