Customer service is very poor. I tried to schedule a facial for my girlfriend a week prior to the scheduled date online. I received a text the day before in the even saying an error on their part can I do 1pm. Replied back no and my appoint was canceled. I tried to call to see about the cancellation and was told they are with a customer and can I text them. The owner texted back saying they were short staffed and other excuses for the cancellation. I inquired how can they make this right because I was upset about the whole situation. I was told they gave me an alternate time and I declined it and have a good day. I will take my business elsewhere and let it be known about the customer service. read more

If you know me and don't want TMI, stop reading now. Went here for the first time to do a Brazilian. I usually go to Allure. They're $5 more than Lady Wax so it's not a price thing. This is much closer to home so that was a plus. But this is my new place. She uses the best wax. No strips. This is usually pretty painful but the wax she uses I swear is virtually painless. Not to mention it can be uncomfortable w someone new bring all up in your business. But she's super friendly and pretty hilarious. Made it so easy. She offers facials and other services. I have been coming here off and on for roughly a year and digested mishap after mishap. Today I'm done. On two separate occasions I've requested a triangle Brazilian from Naomi. The first time she waxed a landing strip and said, oops! The second time she said "I'll try not to talk so much" before doing the same thing. Frustrating, but I figured she's new and still learning right? Then I went to I believe a Skyler, only to have a lopsided triangle waxed. I was going to give it another try and booked a wax before my vacation only to receive a short message 2hrs before my appointment (same day) telling me my appointment is canceled. Understandable, though when I inquired as to how the situation would be rectified I was surprised by the curt and rude response I received back. Super unprofessional and I'm blown by how the situation was handled. Will not be spending another dime with this business. Perhaps they are short staffed because the waxing is subpar. Since they say there's "No cancellation charge" for same day appointments I encourage anyone to use these texts should they receive a charge when "life happens". read more

I found Theresa on yelp because of her great reviews and was excited to see her. Overall, the experience was good. She is knowledgeable, professional, and makes the whole process pretty easy. So why the 3 stars? Her yelp page advertises a 20% off coupon if you book 2 or more services, so that's what I did. I mentioned the coupon when I went to pay and she acted confused, so I showed her the coupon on her own yelp page. She said that shouldn't be on there and yelp should have taken the coupon down 1 year ago and she wouldn't honor the discount. I understand mistakes happen, but it's been over a week since I brought this to her attention and the coupon code is still up. I was unsure if I was going to write a review since everything else was good, but I didn't want others to book expecting a discount that won't be honored. This was my first experience with Lady Wax- Body Wax Studio and I will absolutely be a repeat customer. Theresa was so professional and kind. The wax she used worked perfectly and was the appropriate temperature ( I've been burned in the past by other aestheticians). She was very thorough and made sure to get every single hair. She had great advice about some ingrown hairs I had and gave me a sample size of a treatment for them to take home. I really appreciated that as I have very sensitive skin so it's frustrating to get full-sized products without knowing how my skin will react. Update to my last review. I just had a full leg and underarm wax with Theresa and will definitely be going back! She is very thorough and honest. I'm 7 months pregnant and she said she couldn't guarantee that she would be able to get the backs of my legs 100% because I would be able to get in certain positions. But I'm still happy with the results! Plus, underarms and legs hurt WAY less for me than the Brazilian (which she said is typically opposite in pain level). read more

I set up an appointment for this morning but when I called to confirm Theresa didn't have it down. I wasn't upset at all and she was able to redchedule me right away the same day. I requested a brazilian and she honestly did a great job!
