After I was injured in a car accident (not my fault), Dr. Lafferty conscientiously looked after my best interests, helping me get the medical care and the legal support I needed for my injuries. This was after several other chiropractors had downplayed the extent of my injuries and my need for ongoing medical and legal support , taking the easy route to appease the insurance company and foist the financial burden onto me, a single woman on Medicare. When I stuck up for myself, one of those chiropractors actually attacked my character, which was traumatic for me. By the time I found Dr. Lafferty, I had been emotionally and mentally battered in addition to my physical injuries from the accident. I have been going to Lafferty Chiropractic as needed for many years. Since I am 77, I find I need treatment more often. One of my big fears is losing mobility. Under Dr. Tony's care, I have actually increased mobility. I travel a lot and there is nothing worse than airplane seats. I get stretched out the day before the flight and find I can tolerate the seats much better. At this point, I walk up to 3 miles a day and do stretching exercises on my lower back and knees. The entire package works to increase my mobility. I can even put up with airplane seats for 9 plus hours. One of the treatments that really works well is the machine that stretches- I call it the Rack. It does a great job of stretching the body without any pain at all- The only time you know it is working is when it starts backing off the stretch. It works great, keeps your back lose and flexible. I just started seeing Dr. Anthony Lafferty and his partner Dr. Mike about 6 weeks ago and i absolutely LOVE them!! I am a runner and a fitness freak ( i typically run 5 days a week a min of 5 miles each day and i go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I abuse my body LOL) and i was so happy and put to ease with amount of knowledge they have about the human body, about sports related injuries, what certain sports does to the body and how to take care of your body right down to the best stretched to do at home to help correct the problem and relieve the pain and loosen you up. I was traveling home for the holidays when my back completely locked up on Christmas day. I couldn't sit, stand, or walk without pain. Even coughing hurt. I found Dr. Mike and Dr. Laffery on yelp and thought I'd give them a try. They were great. They got me back on my feet the next day with stim, adjustments and traction and even called to check on me later that day and then came in on a Saturday since I was driving out that morning because they worried I wouldn't do well without more treatment (they were right!). Did they completely cure me in two treatments? Nobody could. But I could sit, walk, and sleep (and cough) without pain. Dr. Lafferty has been my chiropractor for over 5 years now. I recently moved a little farther away and can't get to his office as often as I like, but I sure notice when I don't see him for a few weeks and my lower back stiffens up. I met Dr. Lafferty at a Crossfit box and he noticed my extremely limited shoulder movement. Dr. Lafferty had asked me what was wrong with my shoulder and I explained how I had a major orthopedic surgery the previous year. He strongly recommended that I go in to his office for some ART (Active Release Therapy) to get my shoulder back into form. Recently I saw Dr Lafferty because I was unable to get an appointment with my Pain Management doctor. I've had an ongoing issue for years with my back and surgery is not an option. I travel 1hr and 15 minutes to see Dr. Lafferty. He is very good. I was in 24/7 pain and tried Dr.s in my area, some were too booked up to give me the care I needed, were cash only or just didn't really address my shoulder issue.
