There is a doctor on site who oversees my dad's therapy. When I had been to p.t. for my broken ankle at another facility, that definitely wasn't the case. My dad is, thankfully, progressing, and actually enjoys his time at p.t. I like that this is a "mom and pop" place as well.

I was most recently seen by Dave Shields for OT before and after hand surgery. Dave is great - he's very knowledgeable, extremely kind, and so patient. My recovery was slower than I anticipated; this frustrated me and caused to feel demoralized at times. But Dave wouldn't let me give up; he cheered me on, always encouraged me, and helped me to see the gains I was making. I have to add that Dave really cares about your comfort during treatment. He will even note your preferences, so that other clinicians can provide you with the same level of care if he happens to be out of the office. Talk about outstanding customer service! I have also worked with Matt Fender (OT) several times. Matt is very pleasant and knowledgeable as well. Matt really excels when it comes to modifying exercises to accommodate other injuries and/or prevent pain. This is a great skill because it helps one advance in recovery without causing additional pain or injury. Matt is a treasure! Athena N. is my favorite PT in the world! She's treated me for a few injuries in the past and I just cannot say enough great things about her. She's very skilled, kind, supportive, and such a pleasure to work with. She is an excellent communicator. She's great at teaching you helpful exercises and ways to prevent injuries. She solicits feedback, listens to it, and tailors your treatment accordingly. My Athena! They currently have an awesome receptionist (Ay*) who just lights up the entire clinic. She is approachable, easygoing, and so efficient. She makes everything a breeze: from scheduling appointments, to updating scripts/orders, check-in, check-out, follow up, etc. I absolutely love to see Ay* every time I walk in. I went to Virtua Barrington Physical Therapy from August 2021 to October 2021. I was told by their…read morerepresentative the very first day, that what ever my insurance company paid, along with my copay, would be accepted as payment in full. I have been going back and forth since December 22, 2021, when I received a bill for $1000 .. Since then it has been a constant game of pass the buck and an inability to speak to a supervisor that can provide a solution to this problem. Everyone I speak to says not to worry because I was pre-authorized for all 30 treatments I received. Lo and behold, I received a threatening letter today about being late and turning this matter over to a collection company. I would not be able to refer this company to anyone I care about. They charged $700/hour, I paid $1200 in copays, and they are still trying to extort $1000 from me. Just shameful. They should be embarrassed. Proceed with extreme caution!!!
