The atmosphere was warm and inviting, our beautiful barstaff were friendly, patient and marvelous, the cocktails were unique and perfectly prepared and the food...man, it was out of this world!! We shared the lobster bisque risotto with a lobster tail, a tuna tartare and a beef tartare, all prepared with skill and love. The flavours were mouthgasmic, the portions perfect and as we sat at the bar, watching the world around us, we looked at each other and said "maybe we should just stay here?" Alas, we decided to do what we drove 90 minutes to do, go see our favorite band. Put it this way: we've decided to do a weekend getaway in their region this summer, and the Dorchester is a very large reason we'll be visiting again!

The staff was attentive, friendly, and always seemed to appear at just the right moment when our glasses were running low. Everything felt effortless throughout our time. The space itself is cute. They also have a lovely outdoor patio with cozy lighting and greenery making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good conversation. The pub offers food, the menu is OK, but don't expect anything else than typical pub food with no real healthy options. Regardless we came for the beers and managed to try most of them. First you can get a taster of the eight beers available on tap. Then you can buy variety of cans for experiments at home, which we did as to celebrate Canada Day in style. Unfortunately my favorite Hazy Camper IPA was not available that day. Farnham also offers few amazing hard seltzers that are worthy trying. The staff is super nice, but a little bit slow. They sell fames, but their prices are above market value.
