this office is by far the worst i've ever experienced. they never return phone calls ! ever! they have no idea how to process orders . if you send a message through the portal they rarely get back to you and if they do they tell you to go to urgent care they dont have time for you. getting medication refills is rediculous, and when i went in for a visit the one time i could get in in years although my doctor was nice she was guessing on treatment tellling me to try this and that and let her know . so she can keep trying . most of all it is kust horrible not one good experience. read more

I have been with this practice for 3 years. I honestly have no idea why I'm still here. They let me walk around on a broken foot for two years and made me feel crazy. Same thing happened when I was having pain in my face, I was continually made out to be a liar, but now am diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. They will treat you like a criminal. Thankfully, I enjoy good health, but the last two times I have called to be seen I was told, "well, it's almost the end of the day." Really, 3:00 is almost the end of the day? I demanded to be seen and was told to go to a walk in. My response was that I have a primary care dr. and was not going to a walk in and they couldn't deny me service. I was put on hold and given an appointment in Ipswich the next morning. I ended up having Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, which is rare in MA but I knew that I was very ill, which is why I demanded to be seen and refused to go to a walk in clinic.Thank God. Now, just yesterday, same thing. Refused to see me. Same thing. Almost the end of the day. (3:00?) Told me to go to a walk in. Left work, went to CVS minute clinic with 103 temp and had positive strep test. Was told by the minute clinic that it's a "no-no" for primary care to refer to walk in clinics..... Lahey Amesbury is the worst. Also, 3 years ago, my husband had a high fever, shaking, Motrin hardly touching the fever. Sent him to Lahey Amesbury and my dr. didn't even check him. Told him he "looked" fine. He came home and had a massive bulls eye rash behind his knee. I called there, sent him back for blood work and told my dr that she needed to start him on the antibiotics. She said they needed to wait for the test results to come back. I told her she was negligent, didn't even check him, didn't order blood work and he has a massive bullseye that she missed and a fever for days and that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that he has Lyme. She finally gave him the antibiotics and of course, the test came back positive. Now when I see her for my physicals she says, "here's my patient that likes to tell me how to do my job." Really? Well thank god I advocate for myself and my family because you certainly need to if you are a member of that practice. Receiving care shouldn't be that hard. read more

Terrible, unprofessional overall. I have recently moved to the area and had to find another PCP. I was having a ton of pain in my hand so went ahead and sought out a doctor who could hopefully be a PCP for me in the future. I scheduled the appointment with ease which is why I am giving it 2 stars. I am also giving it 2 stars because some of the staff was pleasant. However, the PCP that I saw, Dr. Tlucko, was absolutely horrible! Not only did she have the WORST bedside manner that I have ever experienced, but she was rude, cold, and overall I did not feel respected. I felt vulnerable. Because my appointment was made relatively quickly, I was not able to have my medical records sent in time. She was asking a lot of questions, understandable, but basically told me to shut up (not in those exact words) when I was trying to elaborate about something. She kept cutting me off. I was trying to ask her about another problem I was having to see how we could move forward with a treatment plan/ideas and she said, "You can't fix everything in one day." Then she asked when the last time I had a physical and I said, "Um.. I don't remember the exact date, but..." and before I could tell her the approximate date, she cut me off snapping, "You need to remember when you had it." I felt like I was being scolded. She rushed me in and out and I was nearly in tears when I left her. She did not even look at my hand which was my main problem! She literally listened to my lungs and that was it. She requested for me to have an xray and scan on my hand, but did not look at it, ask for symptoms, etc. It has now been weeks since I had that appointment and my xray and I have not received a call or anything as to the results. This is really disappointing since I came in as an urgent patient in pain. Afterwards, she told me to sit out in a waiting area until I was seen by the woman behind the desk which it turned out was just someone who could schedule appointments for me. I had two people in front of me and I was literally there for 45 minutes waiting. Then when I finally got to be seen by the "scheduler" she told me that I could have just gone to the front desk and that the front desk just did not feel like working. She then told me they were just laughing and talking in the front (which was pretty unprofessional of her to tell me in the first place!) She apologized, but I was so aggravated, but knew it was not her fault. I really wanted to give it one star, but I do want to recognize the positives which included the prompt appointment scheduling and the friendly phone intake woman. Go at your own risk. If you do decide to go, there are other doctors you can request. Dr. Tlucko is not the one unless you want a very quick, impersonal, not thorough, appointment and want to leave feeling like crap! read more

The office help is incompetent at best. You call in for a prescription and it is either not sent to where you tell them or did not go thru I usually call a week before I am going to run out of pills and that is still not enough time for them to get it right. Every prescription you to call twice to get it filled. Now let talk about the fraudulent billing that goes on. It always the same thing oh we are sorry and will fix it and it never is. Run for the hills you will deal with incompetence and aggravation dealing with these people. read more

WORST place ever! Dr. Tlucko is my grandmothers Dr. (if you can even call her that) my grandmother has Alzheimer's late late stages. Last time I took her in she didn't even touch her. She had a Huge sore on her back like a hole. Didn't care just lets me do all the talking telling her she's skin and bones. Not that she listens anyways cause she's just staring at a computer the whole time. And then the staff in the front full on nightmare I have to call in a prescription's monthly and they're always late and they never know what they're talking about or communicate to each other anything I have to call at least 3 to 5 times each time for every medication including her depends everything, it's like talking to a brick wall, we chose that place because it's close and taking my grandmother anywhere is near impossible. He Dr. always tries and ask my grandmother questions it's like hello it's been two years now you still don't know she doesn't know anything up or down, the day, me. Anyway needless to say we have had it with that lady and her staff. read more

I have been going to Lahey Amesbury for about a year and a half. For the most part I have had okay treatment. Last week I saw Dr. Alena TLUCKO, she was awful. If you ever have an appointment with her cancel, I mean it. I was having a bad reacting to a medication and I was unable to be seen by my doctor right away so I took her when offered the appointment. Even though I was shaking so bad I fell of the table she told me she didn't know why I was there or what I wanted from her. When I explained the problem with the medication she said she didn't know it and if it was causing problems then maybe I should stop taking it. I tried to explain to her that its a medication specifically advice to not go off of without medical supervision. She told me to do whatever I waned it wasn't her problem. After I pushed she finally said she would do blood work. What for? To charge me an additional four hundred dollars for nothing. By the way two days later I had a panic attack at work as a result of withdrawal from gabapentin and nearly lost my job. Thanks a lot Dr. Tluko. read more

have to agree about Dr. Teleko, she's the worst and Amesbury Lahey is a problem. No matter what the issue she tells you you are imagining it, she's rude and abrupt, and she just doesn't know what she's talking about. When I told her I was concerned about rapid weight gain instead of referring me to Lahey's weight management program, etc. she told me to only have half a bun with my hamburgers (I gave up bread a long time ago). Seriously, that was the extent of her nutritional feedback. Once she gave me an antibiotic I became very ill, shaking, dizzy, disoriented and I called. She said she didn't know what I was talking about it was a good antibiotic she takes it herself with no problem. Hours later her nurse calls and tells me to stop taking it immediately, as it turns out it is a known serious side effect. During an annual which lasted 15 minutes she never once asked me how I was feeling in general and if I had any specific issues. She routinely tells me I need tests I recently had (like a colonoscopy and bone density) and the last time I told her I was concerned that she doesn't ever seen to have my test history in her files, and she said "I don't like to be talked to like that." I patently asked her if I had a right to be concerned when she was advising tests that I've had and that my insurance would not pay for. She didn't respond. When I was in awful pain from a gyn problem, the office would not help me get an urgent appointment with a specialist I had to go to a supervisor in Burlington to do that, and when I got the appointment they were shocked at how it had been diagnosed and treated. The second time I went in to Dr. Teleco for that problem she said she didn't know why they made the appointment since the lab was closed. I've been going there for convenience, but doctors leave the practice constantly, in the last three years my doctor , my husbands and my daughters, all different, all left as well as several others. read more
