This is a review for the gynecology office. I was seen in-person at Lahey Peabody by Corinne Prigo, NP and Dr. Michelle Gruttadauria. Both Dr. Gruttadauria and NP Corinne were extremely kind, empathetic, skilled, informed, and went above and beyond expectations. I would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends for gynecology care. Corinne was also willing to see me same day after my previously scheduled appointment was cancelled by another clinician, which was so amazing. read more

I trusted Dr. Lobo to repair my broken heel after she assured me I would regain about 90% of my foot function and return to a normal life. The reality was devastating. After surgery, my foot was left crooked and I developed a large open wound that was never explained to me. She put a cast over it without telling me anything. When I returned to have the cast changed and finally saw the wound, I almost fainted. No one had warned me about it, and at one point it was close to becoming necrotic. I had to stay in bed for two months because of severe swelling and fluid. Instead of receiving support, I was treated as if I was being dramatic while I was clearly in extreme pain and dealing with serious complications. I later learned that a screw had been placed directly through the middle of my joint, and I ultimately needed another surgery to try to correct the damage. To this day I am still suffering the consequences. I have difficulty walking and constant pain that now affects my legs and back. This surgery took away the active life I once had. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Dr. Lobo at all. read more

I've been a patient at Lahey Peabody patient for more than a decade and I can't say enough good things about most of the doctors, nurses and support staff I've dealt with. However, unless you have an 30 mins to an hour to waste on hold, it's almost impossible to get appointments by telephone. Using the online app is just as bad. Lahey asks it's patients to fill out an intake form for each appointment, even if you have several on the same day - a HUGE WASTE OF TIME, and now has its doctor's on a strict time allotment per patient, leaving little time to discuss your issues. I stay with Lahey only because I like my doctors and don't want to go through building relationships with new providers. I'm almost out of patience. Unless you have LOTS of time to waste take my advice and skip Lahey Peabody. read more

I just had my 2nd amazing surgery by Dr. Soong for a painful cyst on my finger. The results from the 1st surgery are nothing short of perfect! Dr. Soong is fastidious & thorough in everything he does. A talented surgeon. You couldn't do better than Dr. Soong. And he's a complete sweetheart with a wonderful sense of humor. From the moment I arrived it was a pleasure. The woman checking me in remembered me & we had a little chat. The nurse who was getting me ready was absolutely wonderful. Their new "Consent for Treatment," contract - that is often presented on a hard-to-read electronic pad, w/o any heads up about its true contents - includes that you agree to "all tests and treatments" for you "and your dependents." When asked if we could modify that contract - just to have a cancer test, we were told, "Legal no longer allows that." So we went elsewhere. There's more - including loss of privacy and that you agree to allow students and medical supply co. reps to participate in your treatment. If you don't sign off on all treatments, you won't get your necessary doctor-ordered test or treatment. That's called medical extortion and neglect. Find another system, after checking ahead. This review is about the parking. We have a handi cap placard because we are both handicapped. The handicapped parking at Lahey Peabody is terrible. Not even close to the entrance. It is a painful just getting into the building. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. read more

This place is a joke. Doctors don't communicate with each other and just do what they want without listening to patients. Especially Dr. Ali Ridha in medicine. He went to Bahgdad university in 2006, not that it matters but its for identifying purposes. That guy sucks and is very condescending. Lahey will leave you in pain and accuse sober patients of med-seeking when only trying to self advocate and then hold off meds that would alleviate extreme pain. this place deserves to go out of business. front receptionist awful. i wish i could've jumped the screen & smacked her in all honesty, we've been there twice this week due to my partner feeling extremely ill, & when i went to say 'we were here the other day' she rudely interrupts saying 'i know give the ID' goes to the back & i hear her clear as day 'she's back for some reason', now onto doctor chabot more like chafuckingcantdoshiteither asking the most basic questions with no real information or explanation as to what is possibly going on. & don't get me started on this one male nurse with a brain tattoo on his right forearm for any that go there ask for a different nurse you'll save yourself the rage & frustration he's a bitch & clearly is insecure he couldn't become a doctor, he was extremely rude as he is chewing gum louder than we can speak, he also while putting the IV into my partners arm does it extremely rough, grabbing & twisting her arm 'looking for a place to put it' places it god awfully wrong the first attempt doesn't give any warning to my partner as he YANKS the needle out, then immediately attempts again, & as he added the medication inside the IV tube, & i've seen several different nurses from several different ERs add medication very slow, he did not, he injected the entire medication through the tube & my partner was able to feel it & was in pain after that & he has the audacity to say 'oops' i wish i had less self control at certain times because certain ppl (him & some other from that awful place) a good talking or ass whooping but hey i'm not a nurse or doctor so WTF DO I KNOW!! do not come to this place at all unless you have 10 hours of the day to spare bc arriving at 4 pm & walking out due to frustration at 9 pm is absurd. my partner & i didn't even wait for a prescription or the papers because we knew that would've took an extra hour. but take it how you want it. read more

The room was full ,shuffling from room to room after 3 hours finally seen by condescending doctor ,control freak ..some nurses very nice and enjoyable,some nurses very nasty..basically the hospital system is terrible ...understaffed and over worked...if possible go to urgent care or Anna Jacques in Newburyport, impossible to walk in and get care unless you are carried in or bleeding,difficulty breathing or chest pain. Of course you can't measure pain ,take the ambulance and always have someone there with you to protect you. read more

My review reflects care received in 2020, however find it just as important today to let others know this is not the place to receive primary care. (Covid aside, this is not a short staff/Side effect of pandemic issue) The experience with the NP here was damaging to trust in healthcare providers and my personal expectation of providers treating clients with respect and compassion. i was in complete pain and after 3 hours,I was getting ready to be seen and I had to go out to my car for pain meds ,they were going to make me register again ,till I really complained and the doctor asked me how I could walk in all that pain,I told him I was an ex paratrooper and paratroopers go further. Lahey emergency dept what can I say they were wonderful. Had to take my 74 yr old mother to be seen for shortness of breath and tremors. Dr. Kim took one look at her and told her she's asthma and ga e her medication. But the star of the show was Irene. She was so good to my mother. Took great care of her. My hematologist called me today and yelled and screamed about how sick he was of dealing with my insurance company. This was his reaction to my asking him to send in a CT scan report showing I have a lesion on my kidney. The CT report says the radiologist recommends an MRI. The hematologist failed to send the report, so the insurance company sent me a letter denying me the MRI for the "pain in my belly" -- and I never reported "pain in my belly". The head of the Hematology Department was contacted about this and did not even address the issue, instead telling me to follow up with my PCP about anemia. He completely ignored the report stating that this lesion needs to be investigated because it might be cancer. Stay away from Lahey if you want to be treated with decency and respect. Now, on top of the worries about cancer, I have a grown man, who is supposed to be a professional, screaming at me like a little child having a tantrum because he is asked to complete a task. I brought my mother in law here for eye surgery. The office staff were very efficient and nice. She went up to the 5th floor for her surgery. Dr Blaha and his team were very professional and explained the process every step of the way. This was her first visit here and will be going back for the other eye in the coming months. read more

I went to the ER at Lahey Peabody Saturday night, April 22, 2023. From the moment I registered I was treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. The Nurses were incredible; friendly, kind and efficient. Both Doctors I encountered were knowledgeable, attentive and took the time answering all my questions. I ended up being admitted to their inpatient unit (10 beds) was staffed by 2 nurses and one Nurse Aide. The unit was clean and uncluttered. My Nurse and Aide were attentive and caring providing me with excellent care. They worked so hard all night running back and forth, answering alarms and call lights. It was non stop. I was exhausted just watching them! This care and attention continued into the day shift with equally efficient, attentive and caring nurses! My major point here is to say I received exceptional care at Lahey Clinic Peabody. I wouldn't go anywhere else for emergency service. read more

The Peabody facility desperately needs to change its waiting area for Radiology. I've had x-rays and an ultrasound here on different occasions, and both times found the patient waiting area to be cramped, dirty, and humiliating for those who have to change into a johnny before their scan. It feels like a cattle car. Lahey should be ashamed of itself for having such a demoralizing space for patients. read more

All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. Brought my partner to Emergency at the North Shore Mall location, for severe head and chest pain. Encountered the MOST uncaring and rude staff (including the doctor who was the worst one of all). Although they ran all the right tests to rule out any serious conditions, they left us there in the room for extended periods of time without ever popping their heads in to ask a simple "are you doing ok?". Finally, after 5 hours, we rang the buzzer and had to ask for all the results from tests. How long were they going to leave us there? WE had to tell the doctor to check the blood tests or I guess he just wasn't going to. This place is pathetic, unprofessional and we will never think of going there again. Upon leaving, they asked for the $200.00 co-payment. They didn't get it. read more
