Very disappointed - I thought I'd get a facial & try Laila's out since the reviews seemed good. I made an appointment via their online reservation system & received a confirmation via email & text. I showed up 10 minutes before my scheduled time but the door was locked, rang the bell & nobody answered. I waited for 10 minutes & returned with the same results. I called twice & left a message with no returned call. Not sure how anyone can run a successful business with the lack of professionalism I personally received. read more

She did not wear a mask during my session and sneezed a few times and blamed it on allergies after I suggested she wear one. My facial felt very rushed as she had other plans after my appointment so I wasn't satisfied with the amount of care received. She never asked about any skin allergies or sensitivities and my face has been burning ever since my appointment. I booked a facial for mature skin which included a peel off mask and promises of "rejuvenated skin". My skin is red and extremely sensitive, even to water. Wish she was a little more considerate about her services. Giving 1 star for the massage. read more

So I tried Laila's facial services several times but never got around to reviewing again. So here I am. To sum it up: it's like heaven. I got the Guinot facial (forgot which exact type). She massages your face, neck, shoulders, and decollete (she taught me that term!). At other facial locations I frequent, they have never gone down past my neck. She says that in Europe, your face includes everything down to your decollete. And it's true! When you're wearing a tank top or dress with a low-neckline, you want the skin there to be radiant as well. She used a device that has electrodes/ ionization in order to make the products absorb deeper into your skin. It doesn't hurt at all- it's not supposed to. You don't feel much of anything besides a massaging feel. It's amazing. My skin feels baby-soft and looks radiant- like it glows- afterwards. Once again, I've gotten facials in San Jose/ Santa Clara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego. No one compares to Laila! read more

Simply amazing! Hands down 5 stars ++ I have to say I was shocked by the overral ambiance and comfortability level of Laila's spa! Its gorgeous inside, and very welcoming. I had a facial done, my very first ever with many more to come. I was skeptical about my visit only because I had never been, nor have I ever really been interested in getting one. I initally came because someone recommeneded me here. However, Laila changed that. She really does take the comfort of your skin and well being into her hands as if it were her own. She wants you to understand that prevention is easier than you think and that taking care of your skin is very important for a healthier appearance. She uses a trusted and unique line of products, which feel extremely refresshing on your skin! I have to say, there were a lot of steps that she went through with the products but worth every minute of it. I left the place very satisfied, with a completely different mindset as I did going there. Bought a groupon for this place because it sounded amazing and since I've been to Turkey, I know how incredible a Turkish bath is. I was a few minutes late and Laila was so accommodating - I really appreciated her patience. There was an accident plus road construction which didn't do great for my drive and timelessness. Anyway, it smelled very nice when I walked in and Laila greeted me with a kind and welcoming smile. I started off by placing my clothes in a locker and then entered the space where the magic happened!! . It started off with a wonderful steam experience while I laid face down on the table. She gave me a water with lemon to keep me hydrated and then left me to enjoy the steam. After the steam finished and dissipated she reappeared and scrubbed my body - washed my hair and face. It's amazing. Might sound a bit strange if you've never experienced a Turkish bath or something similar but trust me - your skin will feel amazing when she's done and you'll be hooked. Laila puts her own spin on it but it's very similar to the Turkish Bath I had while in Turkey. It's a wonderful experience. You'll have to experience it for yourself. Also - let her know how soft or hard you want her to scrub because it can make your skin a little sensitive if you don't. Not everyone can tolerate the same pressure but she's open to whatever makes it the best experience for you!! read more

The turkish bath starts with the steam table. You lay face down for 10-20 minutes relaxing while letting the steam do the work. Bring an extra panty to change into after the treatment. Laila then came in and asked me about the steam ( If I wanted more or less). She then used a mit to scrub my back arms and legs. It was disturbingly good how much dead skin came off. I'm still shocked. After a rinse, she repeated on my front side. Then she washed my body and hair. Followed by aromatherapy oil. I finished the last 10 minutes steaming followed by a shower. A comfy towel and rob was provided. It truly was wonderful. read more

I have a mild case of inflamed acne and pigmentation. I expected my skin to break out. But after 10 yrs of being acne free, to suddenly breaking out again was very frustrating. I start facial and acne treatment with Laila several months ago and I could not be any happier. She helped me face reality and help get clear skin in less than 4 sessions. She also advised me on clean eating & sticking to the recommended program, which obviously did wonders for my skin. Prevention is better than cure and I am not waiting again to get crazy breakout. I decide to follow Laila to her own SPA. Laila's Spa is brand new business and it's BEAUTIFUL. It's different than any other Spa I have been to. SPA has Turkish HAMMAM! I just start going for my facial but can't wait to try out the Turkish Hammam. Do NOT purchase a service for Laila's Spa through Groupon!! I bought a $140.00 couple's Thai massage through Groupon in February. When I called to schedule our appt, Laila told me there is a $60.00 deposit required, or I could give her my Groupon code over the phone by redeeming it myself, which is what I did. She then scheduled us for 03/21. Fast forward to 03/17.. I received a text message from Laila's Spa canceling our appointment due to the Coronavirus. Nothing is mentioned about how I will be refunded: Dear Bernadette Rojas, appointment is cancelled with Laila's Spa on Sat, Mar-21-2020 at 02:00 PM With laila arian due to: We are with a heavy heart that we will be canceling all services at Lailas Spa During this time to do our part in not spreading the COVID-19. We are trying to practice social distancing during this time. We value you as a clients and your continued patronage to our spa. We promise that as soon as this passes we will be here to serve you. Thank you for believing in us and we pray that all of our clients stay healthy during this time.. After speaking to her, I was told to contact Groupon directly. I emailed Groupon, explaining the situation and why the voucher shows redeemed. Groupon won't give me a refund until Laila confirms I did not have services. She did not get back to them. I left her a voicemail letting her know that Groupon is not processing my refund until she confirms I had no services. She called back and left me a voicemail stating that I can reschedule as far as a year or two from now when they re-open. She is playing games, and purposely ignoring my request to contact Groupon so that I can get my REFUND. My guess is that she's already been paid by Groupon, and does not want to have to refund them. I ran into this place through the Groupon deal and glad I gave it a try. I got the Turkish and Roman bath scrub and love it. Now I try to get it done twice a year to keep my skin nice and healthy. It makes your skin feels rejuvenated, smooth, clean and glowing. It's a lil pricy but def worth every penny. Laila is very friendly and informative.. so ask her if you have any questions because she has other skin products and services. I highly recommend this service.. I called last week to see if she had any available appt after seeing her deal on groupon (which she honors if you purchase through Laila herself) and unfortunately she was booked and I can definitely see why! I went in today for my Turkish bath and walked out feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated. I loved that Laila explained what she was going to do and the benefits of the bath. I loved it and booked my appointment for next month. It's so convenient that she has an automated reminder text for when you book the appointment and to confirm the appointment as well her calling to remind you of the appointment. I had my first visit to Laila's Spa today. My appointment was with Ping. My daughter purchased for me from Groupon however coupon expired but owner Laila honored it, I agreed to pay difference. My interactions with Laila were very warm and friendly. During my massage, Ping must've sensed I was nervous, she talked to me and calmed me down. She relieved all the tension in my neck and I had cupping for the first time. I would highly recommend cupping! I will definitely be back and I plan to bring my daughters next time. Terrible Customer Service--Will NOT be back So I found out about Laila's spa via their ad on Groupon and decided to give them a try. I booked a deep tissue massage with them for 1:00pm. The day of my appt. they called me at 12:30pm asking if I could move my appt. to 1:30pm instead. Not a big deal, and I figured that if they needed more time to prepare then it should equate to a more pleasant experience. I arrived for my appt. a little earlier to sign disclosure form etc. and proceeded with my appt. for the massage. Which, by the way, I want to mention that my massage therapist was absolutely amazing--so this review has nothing to do with her performance what so ever. Anyways, so during my massage, the receptionist (and the same woman that called me earlier asking me to move my appt.) literally BARGES into my massage room. She didn't knock, didn't call out, just Opened the door/barged in and in a loud voice began asking me and the massage therapist questions about the appt. such as "is she doing a 90minute massage" my massage therapist told her "no a 60 minute," and told her how much time we had remaining. The reception (mind you, the SAME woman that moved this appt.) then asks me directly "what time was your appt ?" So I told her my appt. was at 1:30. She then makes a few more comments and then leaves. If she had questions about my appt. she should have referred herself to the booking schedule in her computer rather than barge into the massage room and begin questioning me. Shortly afterwards, as I was walking back through the main lobby to leave the facility the same receptionist is sitting at the front desk talking to a woman about a situation she had encountered and as I am leaving she just stares at me! No "goodbye," no "have a nice day," no "did you enjoy the massage," nothing! JUST STARES! And NOT EVEN with a smile! She stares at me and then continues talking to the girl. I felt like I was exiting the Walmart on hammer lane rather than a spa! Poor customer service like this is exactly the kind of thing that ruins Spa potential. And better yet, I called back and requested to speak to the manager and the SAME woman/receptionist tells me that SHE IS THE MANAGER!Yeah, I DEFINITELY won't be back! Again, my massage therapist was absolutely amazing and has nothing to do with this review, it's the low quality service of the receptionist/manager that made the experience negative. read more

I met Laila and she told me that she would be open for business in a couple of weeks. I followed up at her suggestion and scheduled my first facial shortly thereafter. Without a doubt, this was the best and most thorough facial I have ever received. Her hands are magical! She explained every process to me and was completely informative during the entire treatment. The results were fantastic! I now schedule my monthly facials at Laila's Spa and continue to be 100% satisfied. I have recently begun monthly Turkish bath treatments (amazing!) as well as waxing sessions. It is rare to find a professional beauty services provider who has the wealth of knowledge and experience that Laila possesses. She is open and caring - she makes her clients feel truly special. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have shared my experiences with lady friends who live in my previous city, and each knows that a visit to see me in Stockton will always include a pampering session at Laila's Spa. I called today to schedule my appointment & I was told that because I visited back in feb 2019 (and paid full price) I'm now a customer & they can't except my Groupon. I honestly did not realize it's been 8 months from my last visit that I paid full price & feel they should of honored it as it's a new service they offer and yes I've visited before but paid full price. WOW, Simply Amazing!! If I could give my experience here a 6th star, I would. L I was treated by my big sister for my birthday to the Turkish Bath Experience. OMG... this was soooooo relaxing. Laila,the owner was very hospitable and courteous which made my sister and I feel very welcomed. She is very knowledgeable about her service and product offerings. You will definitely be in great hands. The service started with a me being in a steam room for about 15 min laying on a soft pad on a marble table. I was also given some water in a nice cup infused with cucumber. The steam did wonders for my skin which made it soft and moist before my skin exfoliation. My attendant for the day was Amanda who has excellent customer service. She definitely knew what she was doing and she made me feel real comfortable. After the steam treatment, Amanda exfoliated my skin with some type of hand glove. Amanda was not rough nor abrasive, but effective as I could see all the dead skin cells on the towel and floor when done. The exfoliation is done on both sides of your body form head to toe. After that, I was rinsed off with warm water and the exfoliated again with a sugar scrub (both sides of body). (There are various scrubs to choose from, I think I choose pomegranate). After the scrub, I was rinsed again and then massaged with a essential oils (both sides of body). My skin was radiant, glowing, and softer than a baby's bottom after the treatment. I have very sensitive skin and thought I would break out, but nothing happened. I am coming back at least every month for one of these treatments. I felt like a wet noodle after the Turkish Bath. Laila's Spa is one of Stockton's hidden jewlels. You must try her!! read more

Let's just say Laila's hands are magical! I received the 'Youthful Radiance Beaute Neuve' treatment per Laila's recommendation for my skin. I do not get too many facials so I was a bit nervous but the entire experience was very relaxing. After a day or two after the facial, my skin felt and looked amazing. It was much smoother and softer to the touch. My husband who does not take much notice of these things even saw a difference and said my face looks brighter. Yay! I also really loved the look and feel of the spa. Everything looked very clean and organized. I appreciated the cozy feeling of Laila's spa which was unlike that of a typical corporate/chain spa. I purchased a groupon for Laila's Spa in December of 2019. Last week of February 2020 on the 18 I booked a massage for the 20th, at the time of booking she requested the voucher code. I assumed to keep it on file for when I redeem the services, I was wrong later that day I was notified by groupon that the voucher had been received. I had to cancel the appointment the day of taking my boyfriend to the ER, and received text confirmation of the no show. Now it is the 27th and I called to reschedule when Laila the owner requested I pay another $30 on top of the voucher to book the appointment as a deposit on top of the $40 I paid for the groupon. She stated she had already paid the message therapist with the voucher money and makes nothing off of Groupon. When I asked for the money back she started to yell at me saying it was my fault for her having to pay the massage therapist. So now I lost $40 and on top of it have to deal with the stress of having to pay $30 while dealing with my boyfriend's medical endeavors. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE GO HERE, EXTREMELY POOR ETHICS. And I'm pretty sure not refunding services that were never given is a crime. I did report this as it seems this company does not like to deal with anyone using Groupon to the Better Business Bureau Update: I did call at 10 in the morning and had to leave a voicemail. And if it is your policy to take money without providing a service then I highly disagree. I was never told my groupon was for a deposit, the groupon was for a massage I never received. You took money without providing a service, I have never heard of a spa taking money like that. First time going here. My husband and I went for a couples massage... we were a little nervous because we have had not wonderful experiences at other spas. This place exceeded my expectations! My massage therapist did fantastic. She even found a spot on my back where I had been having problems for a good 5 days and massaged it out! Heard it pop and all. Very knowledgeable in her profession and friendly! My husbands massage therapist did a great job in the areas he specified... he would appreciate those foot and back massages daily he said! However, she was definitely newer and forgot to massage main parts of his body. Overall, we would definitely come back and recommend to friends/family too! read more
