Yearly Termite Inspection - Service technician was great. Friendly and efficient. My reason for the (2) rating was - there was one bait canister that was completely empty. It was replaced with fresh bait, but I question if that was all they should do ? Doesn't an empty canister indicate termite activity ? My house is raised and underneath is easily accessed. Should not a visual inspection of under the house in the area of the empty canister been done ? I feel it should be done. Apparently LaJaunie's inspection procedures don't require actually looking for infestation. A visual inspection would have given them a GREAT rating instead of a 2. Guess I'll get under the house and do the visual inspection myself. read more

I've been a customer of LaJaunie's for about 2-3 years now, in two different apartment buildings. I want to say as a disclaimer that I've never had an issue with infestations. I've lived in somewhat old buildings, which means roaches are able to find their way in from outside to run amuck in the house. So my hope in hiring LaJaunie's was to get treatments that would keep them from coming inside. My first year using LaJaunie's seemed effective enough, as each time someone came to spray they took the time to walk me through what they were doing and how it should help control roaches. However, experience using them in my second apartment has left a lot to be desired. Each time a serviceman comes to the house, they spend a total of 5 minutes treating the inside and maybe another 5 treating the outside. They also only come to the apartment once in three months, even though they're charging $30 each month for services. They do offer additional treatments if you call and tell them that you're having roach issues, but being billed monthly and having to request that they come out to do a 5-10 minute job leaves a bad taste in one's mouth. I will say that my first apartment was much larger so it may have felt that they were spending more time because they had more rooms to treat. Overall, if you're like me and just need pest control to keep roaches out, LaJaunie's services seem mediocre for the amount of money you pay. I can't speak for someone who needs pest control for infestations. I won't be renewing my contract with them and will probably just invest in roach traps that will definitely be cheaper, and maybe even more effective. read more

The initial quote was agreed on, then they charged me more Then when I called for renewal, they demanded payment BEFORE they would even give me a service date. When I said "I'll call back later, you are not very pleasant"...she said "Neither are you." Then she hung up. There's a difference, though. I was not demanding her credit card number for a service...who knows when? Terrible customer service and don't believe the quote you are given. This review is about a termite contract. I was satisfied with this company until I was charged for the LAST treatment I got. They automatically decided I needed a treatment, not telling me the previous contract had ended. I have no job because of COVID-19, we're all suffering but LaJaunie felt they needed to bill me for a treatment didn't ask for and couldn't afford. Used them for apartment pest maintenance, would bill even when no entry was made. Continued service billing on a vacant storm damaged building. What has caused me to write this review was their raising the bill from $91 to $119 with no notice. Refused to pay $119 paid $91. They said this was ok and adjusted my billing back to $91. For the last three months these clowns keep sending a bill for $28 the difference from 119 and 91 even through the said the $91 was ok and even adjusted my billing back to $91. Now they want to send it to collection. At least three calls by my wife and one by me and the clown show continues. If you want to deal with an incompetent company especially when it comes to billing hire them, if not find someone else. read more

Pathetic! Said 200.00 over phone. When they got to my place said 300.00. Then said for 1 yr. Of service (they would come every 3 months for wasp problem/eradication) they would charge my card for 3mo's @ $30 per month, but only for a total of 90 bucks. Paid them in Jun. (The 300.00). They keep billing my card though, Aug. Thru Dec. But haven't seen them since. Wonder how they are still in business... I guess charging people but not doing their job, pays pretty well! read more

I just called this company for termite treatment since they had an offer on their site for $399 which is a great price but end up to find out that they can't offer me this "special price" because it's expired. I talked to Kim and explained that you can't just have false advertising on a site that's illegal and don't follow the regulations for websites. Kim was rude and hang up on me because I told her the truth about having false advertising. She answered me again and had an attitude when she found out I was the same person I just called.
