At that point, I explained that I had work obligations and had specifically scheduled an early appointment to accommodate my schedule. The response I received was simply, "I'm sorry." What I find most concerning is the complete disregard for a patient's time. Patients are expected to arrive early, remain punctual, and structure their workdays around these appointments, yet the same professional courtesy was evidently not extended by the provider. Running a few minutes behind is understandable; not being present at the office for scheduled appointments is something entirely different. First impressions matter, particularly in healthcare. Unfortunately, my experience suggested a lack of professionalism and respect for patients' time, which does not inspire confidence in the practice overall.
