When I mentioned this, I was told that they gave me free Scotchgusrd- I don't think so! I think my carpet has a musty smell as well. I wanted to call them back, but my husband did want to contend with wet carpet again. I should have used Stanley Steamer. They also pointed out areas of high traffic on our carpets and the limitations of their services due to normal wear and tear. We had 2 staircases, a hallway, and the dining room carpets cleaned. They were in and out within the hour. The carpets look revitalized and fuller and "fluffier" than before. Sparkling Clean moved our furniture off of the rugs for us, rolled up the rugs, and loaded them into their van. The estimated return of our rugs was 2 weeks.
