It's been years since I've been in a theater, but I had to go out and see the movie, Obsession. I miss the days when you could get your ticket and find your own seat when you get inside the theater, but this time I ordered online to get my ticket before beforehand and chose my own seat. The attendants were very helpful. Should be noted that when I order the ticket online since I had never ordered from there before I got a free one month subscription to audible, which was nice. Can't complain about that. I expected the theater to be mostly empty since I was going during a weekday, but that wasn't the case. Maybe it was because of this one particular movie is getting a lot of word-of-mouth traffic or maybe it's always busy during the day. The theater was packed and I knew it would be because seats were limited when I ordered online. They said movies were dying, but I didn't see that this day Didn't go to the concession stand because I had a feeling popcorn and a drink would make this a $60 experience based on what I have been hearing lately about movie prices. So don't quote me on that part. If I did have to think of one complaint, maybe it would be the amount of commercials being shown while we're waiting for the movie to be played but what can you do? They've got to pay the bills. I have also heard people complaining that the etiquette is almost gone now, but I had a pleasant experience in this theater. No one talking or using their phones.

We love to catch their $6 Tuesday promotion since it's usually a lot less people to disturb and they always have a good selection of films both new and classics. This was my first time getting a cocktail here and it was GOOD and STRONG lol. I there's also an arcade area and Little Free Library inside which we love.

I don't go to the movies more than once or twice a year for a variety of reasons (mainly due to the audience around me not being respectful and at the high cost of a movie ticket, I don't always see the value), but I wanted to see The Bride in a theater and I was thrilled to see it was playing here. The lovely ticket salesperson was very welcoming and a great representation of the theater. The concession/bartenders, however... I felt disliked and I try to lead with kindness so I'm not sure if it was a rough night or whatever. The guy cleaning the theater was also super nice and I felt bad that he was doing it on his own, given how inconsiderate movie patrons can be (is it so hard to take your trash out with you?) The movie experience itself was very good, with stadium style seating that I didn't expect. Prices are lower than at your typical AMC etc and I appreciated the wine selection. I also admired their community events and special showings. It reminded me a lot of one of my favorite arthouses in NYC, the Angelika.

No lean back, recliner, vibrating chairs, with food service served to you. No it is just a plain small theatre with one popcorn machine, a few concessions people, some candy for sale, a nice somewhat elaborate coffee barista area, and a few select movies showing. I love the quaintness of this theatre. I loved the quirky decor. And I really enjoyed their coffee as well. I came here during the winter when they were showing It's a Wonderful Life. Not only was it was my first time here at the this theatre, it was also my first time seeing this movie. Prior to the showing, a worker stood in front of the theatre to address the crowd with beautiful facts about the movie and Jimmy Stewart. It is an annual event, so if you are curious this is a great way to spend an afternoon. They also have a soap machine making what represents "Snow" outside as you enter the establishment. People also came dressed up in fun winter and Christmas gear. I highly recommend this being done at least once. And if not for this annual showing, any fun date.

Why I became an actor and filmmaker was confirmed here.
