So yeah, it's not a brand spanking new hotel, but it's also not looking run down either, which I guess means they're doing a nice job maintaining the place. We stayed in a presidential suite which we booked directly with a time share owner online. The suite itself was very pleasant as expected, the finishing touches and furnishings were of good quality and the beds were comfortable. There was some light wear and tear here and there, but overall it was a very nice suite to stay in. Very functional and comfortable. We didn't use very many of the property amenities this time around because we spent so much time in the amusement parks, but there are a bunch of options including mini golf, pools, BBQ area, restaurants and more. As I mentioned in previous reviews, this property is located amazingly close to all of the Disney parks, which is great. The only downside I can think of was the fact that our suite was facing the parking lot and a power facility of some kind, right next to the building. This thing was making nonstop noise 24/7, making it impossible to enjoy the balcony. That really sucked. Luckily it wasn't audible in the room, but we did want to eat and have coffee on the balcony throughout our stay, and the noise made it very unpleasant. Overall I would give Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek 3.5 stars. While I would never purchase a time share, I could definitely see myself staying here again if we were thinking about visiting Orlando.

Tubs and sinks needed detailed cleaning. The drier vent was thick with lint. The pools: 1/5, crowded, no seats after 11am. Grab a rock behind the bushes for additional seats. No maintenance nor PR staff presence. Parking: 3/5. Limited front parking. Additional parking located in cramped structure, a 5 minute walk to room. The front desk and cleaning ladies in the hallways, 4/5: sweet, responsive. Prompt with fulfilling toiletries and kitchen supplies. This is the only highlight. Eats: 3/5 pizza, tacos, Starbucks, ice-cream. Free scope birthday ice-cream. Farmers Market Thursday: 0/5, only has 4 stands. Kettle corn & fried pork rinds, jewelry, table with scattered bell peppers, booze. It's a nice stay. The view, if you're lucky to get the lake view room, is worth the stay. But the amenities and overall services do not match the sales pitch for this location. This was our second year here. Won't be back.

Disappointed in Bonnet Creek -- Kids Overcharged, No Accountability…read more Our stay at Bonnet Creek was not what we expected from a family-focused resort. Not only did we deal with multiple toilet issues in our room throughout the trip, but our kids were also grossly overcharged at the poolside hair braiding stand. They were hit with almost 50% in hidden gratuity and fees -- none of which were disclosed until after payment was processed. We reached out expecting the resort to care, especially since this vendor targets children and families. Unfortunately, Wyndham Bonnet Creek showed no concern or accountability. It's unacceptable for a kid-friendly resort to turn a blind eye when children are being misled and overcharged right on property. We spoke with other families who had nearly identical experiences. Bonnet Creek either needs to vet their vendors more carefully or take some responsibility for how their guests are treated.

BED BUGS!! During our stay in a 3 bedroom villa, our child…read morewoke up with swollen itchy bug bites covering his entire back. They had a very distinct zigzag pattern. When we checked his bed we found several bugs in the creases of the headboard. We closed the door and took our son down to the lobby to notify the staff. They had my husband fill out a report, and they took pictures of my child's back. Security was sent to our room. They took the sheets off the bed, and told us the HOA will be notified, and this will be a published report. They switched us to a new villa. We spent a couple hours cleaning our condo and belongings before switching to the new villa with no help from any staff. The following morning I took my child to urgent care to have his back looked at. The health care provider confirmed he did have bed bug bites, and prescribed us a medication for the pain and itching. The manager from Wyndham called us to let us know that 2 companies were out and did not find bed bugs in the room despite the proof we have of the bugs in the headboard, my child's back, and the report from the doctor. He told us the insurance company will be reaching out to us in 7-10 days about our claim. It's been 2 weeks, and still no phone calls from anyone. We received no help with getting our belongings and luggage professionally cleaned, they just moved us to a different villa and washed their hands of us. It's been over 2 weeks, and we still haven't heard from anyone. On top of the bedbug situation the new condo we were moved to was filled with marijuana smoke the rest of our stay. We called the lobby and spoke to security twice and were told they would check it out. We told the Wyndham manager over the phone about the marijuana smoke, we went down to the lobby and told the manager on duty about it, and also gave them a copy of the doctors report noting the bed bug bites on my child. Nothing was done. The last 3 days of our vacation we were stuck in a villa full of marijuana smoke. My 11yr old son couldn't even sit out on the balcony to eat his cereal without it blowing up into his face. We tried to make the best of our trip the last few days for our kids. We decided to head to the waterpark and Seven Eagles pool. While swimming with our children at Seven Eagles pool there were several people sitting around the pool also smoking marijuana. It was disgusting. On check out day we packed up our car with all our belongings, and our entire car stunk of marijuana. After we arrived home we trashed all our luggage because it stunk of marijuana, and to avoid spreading anything into our house. No one is taking responsibility for this nightmare. Since we've been home we called Reunion Resort several times, and left voice mails. Not one person has reached out to us. We thought we were booking a family friendly resort close to Disney World, but it was the complete opposite.

I am SO glad I did because this was and amazing opportunity for a great escape to Lake Tahoe. We will 100% be using them for future vacations! They made everyone so effortless and simple! Booking - The booking process was quick and simple. Choose your room and dates and you're all set! Make sure you reserve the room in the name on your ID because the resort will check. I don't image this would be an issue for anyone, but worth a mention. Once paid, you're all set! Check-In - We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our check in time and I was prepared to wait if needed. They didn't mention our early arrival and started the process right away. Everything was straightforward and normal for any hotel/resort. I gave them a credit card for the $100 incidentals deposit. I haven't checked my card, but I imagine the hold has dropped off by now. The Room and Space - Holy Moly... We were BLOWN away! We LOVED it! We cook when we go on vacation so having a decent kitchen is important to us. Everything we needed (and more) was there! This was a nice change from staying at AirBnB's where you might get a fully stocked kitchen or you might get an empty kitchen. Everything else within our space either met or exceeded our expectations. Location - We stayed at South Shore by Wyndham in Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach and an 8 minute drive to Heavenly Village (touristy but cute shopping and dining) which is perfect. There is also a grocery store 2 minutes away! When visiting Lake Tahoe, expect to drive around the lake! Don't limit yourself to the east or west shore. Get in the car and explore and see the beauty of the entire lake! You will not be disappointed. Check-out - We just replied to a text Wyndham sent us the day before checkout and let them know we had left! Easy Peasy!! I am so pleased with our stay from Vacation Strategy! As I said in the beginning of the review, we'll definitely be using them for future vacays AND we'll be telling everyone we know about them.

The folks residing here are friendly & tend to watch out for one another, which is reassuring. Located on Lake Rousseau, where the fishing is plentiful. They have a small bathhouse (1 shower) & a nice laundry (3 washers @ $1.75/3 dryers at $1 per load). There's no cable & OTA is unreliable, but the wifi is excellent. TV channels are not consistent, but I really haven't missed watching it very much. Although I do watch a few channels occasionally, it's given me a great opportunity to catch up on some reading. Speaking of reading, there is a book exchange area in the laundry. These folks also own Big Bass Village RV down the road, so you can't always catch someone in the office, but the manager (Suzie) got back with me very quickly when I emailed her from the address on the website. I think the owners are really working hard to make this a beautiful place. It has great potential, it's VERY reasonably priced (lower than anyone else in the area), & are quick to answer questions or suggest sights/views/restaurants. I'm really glad that this was the RV park we chose for our stay in this pretty part of Florida.

Extremely Unsafe - Major Property Damage…read more I stayed at this RV park recently and experienced a completely unsafe environment. People living adjacent to the park were shooting into the property with a .223, and my vehicle was hit, causing severe damage including the need to replace my transmission cooler. Because of this, I was without my truck for a month, had to tow it out of the park, and also needed to tow my camper out safely. The damage and associated costs ran into the thousands of dollars. The park owners knew about these neighbors firing assault rifles and had built a 20-foot berm--but it clearly did nothing to prevent property damage. Multiple other residents also filed police reports, and some had to run inside out of fear for their lives. Walking around the park was unsafe, which is shocking for a gated community that charges premium rates. While the owners offered to reimburse my rent for the month due to the costs incurred staying there, they claimed that the damage to my truck--even parked in my assigned driveway--was not their responsibility. This is unacceptable given the circumstances and the known risk from adjacent residents. Overall, this park is extremely unsafe, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who values their safety or property.

Our reservation packet was in the late-arrival box. Nice color-map with good description of amenities. Beyond this the service was almost non-existent. Bath House was not the cleanest and the men's has only ONE toilet and ONE urinal. There are only TWO showers, although never had to wait. Shower debris were not cleaned during the four days. The left-side sink faucet handle was broken and spews water all over your pants because it has no aerator. Trash dumpsters are located at three corners of the park, but not the main entrance, so not easy to drop trash. I had walked our nightly trash to the bath house only to find no place for it. There was a single trash can by the fire pit but it was overflowing. Quiet: Pretty good here because many of the sites are long-term, so they aren't outside making noise. Cleanliness: Besides the bath house mentioned earlier, parts of the park are okay, like the office, pool and shuffleboard areas. Many of the long-term residents have junk piled up on their properties that detracts heavily from the cleanliness. The back of site F05 has a direct view of the long-term resident behind it and it looks like a junkyard with a lot of broken down items and storage units in very poor condition. Summary: Although the price was good, we decided we wouldn't stay here again unless it was the only place available.
