We went to a big one in Clermont, it was too big, it felt more like a concert type of venue, lights, camera, action! We both felt the same way, we needed a church like the one back home, with a good message and a home feel with the presence of God. We were recommended to visit these churches as well as South Lake Church. While for some, the flashy lights and loud music can be a little off putting if you're not used to that, for me I don't mind it at all. Their praise and worship is always incredible and truly gives you the space to have a moment with the Lord. They have a very thought out kids ministry, with child care for all ages. Pastor Rick teaches from the Bible with some anecdotal based on his life experiences and through what I believe is the Holy Spirit. He has a soft and kind demeanor with incredible humor as well. The services aren't very packed and there are small groups throughout the week. This church is focused on reaching our youngest and most vulnerable, where a lot of the donations are used.
