This church cherry picks which of Gods laws we"re to follow. Cherry picking bible verses that best suit the needs of this financial institution. Yes they will constantly ask you for money. Last year we received a lecture about if we could tip at Starbucks then we could surely give 10% of our income. Don't get me wrong, they put on a good show. Lights, music, overpriced coffee. A tutorial on how Clermont use to be before all us foreigners got here by the LP. Women pastors? I'm pretty sure Paul wrote that somewhere. Last year not one mention about the abortion bill that was being voted on. I guess if you could lose your tax status then that ends that conversation. The Word is shared in language easy to understand. The ministers take God's Word and help us apply it to the situations we face today. Scripture is peppered throughout the message not with condemnation but with love Justin is truly anointed. He readily admits he is far from perfect and even shares his own failures that the the Lord used to shift his ways to faithfulness. There is no judgment here. You can attend church in your Sunday best or in jeans and sneakers and even tattoos and piercings. People from all walks of life gather here to learn of God's love and what He can do to change us. Beautiful surroundings and fun events such as Tim Tebow prom night - which by the way was great! The music is incredible with top notch talented performers. Words to the songs are on screens so you don't have to know the words to sing along - they are right there for you to follow along with Most importantly you don't have to know the WORD to attend. We've attended Real Life since we relocated here a few years back and since Covid Saturday services have been canceled. At least we had the on-line ones, until today. With no warning it has been canceled, we had communion set up and... nothing. No notice, nothing, it shows a lack of caring on the part of the administration of the church for those of us who have been faithful attendees. Sadly we will be stopping our tithing except for the rare times we may be able to attend in person. May I suggest that your obvious dismissal with no thought of your Saturday members shows a lack a decency, in particular a lack of Christian decency. Your actions speak for the church and how it sees its members, which with your actions today, says you don't see us as members only those that can attend in person on Sunday need apply. As for a review of the Church: Back when we could attend and when services were streamed live, there was a sense of community. The sermons were lively and interesting, using real life situations that we all could relate to. If you prefer your bible in the traditional historical perspective then this would likely disappoint you. However if you want your bible and it's lessons to resonate with life today, with a touch of humor along with your message then this will feel like you've found a home. So don't expect the church to care about you and to communicate to their members but do expect an experience and message that is about living with Christ in today's world. read more

We called Real Life daycare in Orlando our home, that is, until the leaders in Clermont who have never come to meet our kids or teachers, decided to close our school with only 30 days notice. Our teachers were blindsided with job loss and our kids have lost their school families. No attempt to meet with parents and save our school or even give us a chance to raise tuition and stay afloat. I'm very disappointed this was allowed to happen with no warning. Clearly a business, not ministry, move. read more

I have been a follower of Christ most of my life and have been a member of churches from Florida to Alabama to California. I have never been so happy to be a part of a Church in my life. This is the real deal- pastors and members CARE about the community and the people. They don't pretend - they live the lost and broken. I'm so happy that we found this Church! Since that time, my husband has been baptized (I rededicated my life as well) and I see the growth in both of our lives. Love Real Life Christian Church. Love going to a church that is all about Christ. Love the children's ministry when checking in your child you are given a sticker with a random letter number combination. So if there is a problem you child's code is displayed on the screen. You also need the sticker to go get your child. Great music, Pastors are easy to relate to and focus on teaching you instead of preaching at you. Definitely found a church home. read more

It's such a shame because this use to be such a great church before covid. I chose this church because of their Saturday night service. I couldn't go to church on Sunday because of work. The first time I went to this church, I felt right at home like I've been attending for years. But, then covid happened and they did their services online only like every other church. It didn't seem like they were putting any effort into at all like other churches. Other churches started to open and this church stayed closed months after other churches decided to open. When they finally decided to open, they took away their Saturday night service. I thought well at least I can watch the live service now later in the week to find out that they no longer were providing that like they use to. They only show a prerecorded taping outside of the church. Even if you are watching on Sunday morning, you can't watch iy live. The pastors just seem like they are making a speech instead of talking to an audience. I can see why other churches are adding on services and Real life is taking away services. It's such a heart break for me because I really use to love this church. read more

Amazing! This church is so awesome! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. They are true the motto Real Life is a Real Church for Real People. I absolutely love it here. I have lived in the area for about 4 years and always saw the church but i never went. I wasn't going to any other church I was just living life and believing that God knew who i was so that was good enough. He knew me, I believed in Him so yeah. Then one day God sent me the whale just as he did for Jonah and said it's time for you to come home. I had gotten my heart completely broken by a boy. I didn't know what to do. I was a wreck. This boy was going to be husband. He promised me everything I wanted. He was supposed to love me and never hurt me. It felt like my world was crashing. I put on Nicole C. Mullen's Redeemer on. I started praying while I was hysterically crying. That's when God spoke to me. He said He had let me live without completely knowing Him for long enough. I wasn't moving forward I had been at a stand still for to long. My time was up, it's His turn now. As He was speaking to me I found myself breathing easier and the tears stopping. God said come home. So I went to Real Life Saturday night service. I was by myself so I was nervous and scared. I walked up and was greeted with smiles immediately. I walked in the church and they had greeters everywhere. A greeter saw me (probably looking like a deer in headlights) and came up to welcome me. We started talking, next thing I know I'm telling her woah's and she's just smiling and listening. Then when I finally stop she tells me that she knows someone who is just starting a Women's Single Group for women my age. How perfect! So I go and sign up. Now it's time for service. They start off with worship. The music was great! Everyone was on their feet singing and worshipping. Then came the message. It was about Coming Home! It was exactly what I needed to hear. All I could think was wow Gods timing IS perfect. I have going to service ever since and if I can't make service I will watch it live via their app. I absolutely love this church! They always remind you the God's Crazy About You and that could not be more true! read more

Did not enjoy the service. The message seemed to be towards making more personal wealth. Then went out with a group of 20 to a local restaurant since I was invited. They were rude to the staff, talked bad about them, let their kids run wild, tried to get tons of free food and returned items. I was shocked. I could not believe they call themselves Christian. I asked a staff as I was leaving about this and apologized, they said they do this ever week and have little to no regard for the staff. Will not return to this church and I was highly embarrassed to be seen with them. read more

I suppose my rating might be unfair as the service I attended was something I'm not a fan of. If a theatrical "show" with flashing colored lights, smoke and EXTREMELY LOUD music are your thing then you'll enjoy this. I personally prefer to focus on The Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit; too much stimuli here to feel the spirit. I truly felt like I was being entertained with visuals and jokes by a stand up preaching comedian. My family and I have been attending Real Life Church for about 3 months now and we love it. It is a very healthy church and we loved it.

Years ago, the pastor was very engaged in the church and led by walking the walk and talking the talk. Now, he is just talking the talk. But his actions speak louder than words as he is absent all the time and has become a self centered, self worshipping narcissistic preacher who is making a higher salary than most everyone in the congregation. The debt of the church has risen from hardly nothing since Justin took over to now almost $23 MILLION dollars almost as if it is a Ponzi scheme. While the church goes more and more into massive debt, Justin Miller gets pay raises and wastes tens of thousands of dollars to hire celebrities like Tim Tebow to come speak and many more celebrities that cost a small fortune. Tebow and these others celebrities are millionaires, yet Justin allows them to rob the collection plate of our hard earned money. It is a scam! All of the sermons have become very narcissistic other than the ones preached by the other pastors who actually do a fine job. Most of Justin Millers sermons are watered down with stories from his weekly adventures he has while the rest of us work hard to pay our tithe and barely get by financially. This is a "not for profit organization", yet the lead pastor is taking huge income just like the Pharisee's that Jesus Christ blasted! The pastor's salary continuously goes up and up year after year and so does his posh lifestyle that includes a new lake front home, private beach condo, brand new cars, motorcycles to expensive vacations on Disney cruise ships all while his wife does not even have to work. He tells us to "give to God" while he takes a shocking percentage of what you give. Seems to me, when the pastors life is greater than the majority of the congregation, you have to ask yourself - is he there to serve the congregation or is the congregation there to serve the pastor? Well, one month out of the year he declares that month "pastor appreciation month" so he can receive even more worship and gifts! So corrupt and self serving! The opposite of Christianity which is love God. Pastors are supposed to be humble!!! This church is not focused on Jesus it is focused on Justin. He spends his time surfing, fishing, wake boarding, motorcycling and in general living a wealthy lifestyle. He does not preach at the academy, he is absent from all events during the week, he does not do any counseling, no hospital visits, no funerals and no weddings. His only contribution to the church is to write a 30 minute sermon 3 times a month of which half of it talks about himself. IT IS TIME FOR A NEW PASTOR. In my opinion and experiences here, this is not the church that Jesus would approve, it used to be. read more

Amazing is an understatement for this church. Real Life is so cool I don't even know where to begin! Sermons are hilarious and so real, worship rocks, super sweet campus, and they even have a Starbucks-type "cafe" where all proceeds go to helping others... So yeah, this place is BOMB to say the least. Aside from all of that, God's presence fills this place top to bottom. The leaders are so humble and all about Jesus. It's a big church but that doesn't take away at all the sense of community, love, and Jesus magic! The main pastor, Justin Miller, is truly gifted, both in preaching and stand-up comedy. Pastor Andy is so awesome as well! Look, all pastors (and everything) rocks here, point blank! So glad and thankful God led me and the fam into Real Life's doors! read more
