We knew what the score would be, and I call their service department hoping to maybe get a discount on the service or, better yet, have them do a little leg work to contact GM and maybe get a reimbursement. To make a long story short, the service representative put the burden to do these things right back on me and my wife. We ended up paying $1000 to have a freaking gear shift switch/electrical harness and assembly replaced, and all because A SWITCH WAS NOT ADEQUATELY MAKING CONTACT WHEN PUTTING THE TRANSMISSION INTO PARK! I had told the rep that we would probably go with Honda or Toyota for our next purchase after his answer, and his reply was that "They have service bulletins, too". Well, guess what smarty pants? You may have saved GM a pitiful $1000, but you have lost out on whatever our purchase will be from another manufacturer. To top it all off, though, GM also has this foolish idea that CarPlay (and Android Auto) should not be supported in future vehicles. That should tell you all you need to know about GM, and these steelerships fall right into line.....PATHETIC.

They charged me $669 just for an "inspection", claiming they changed a few fuses that were misplaced -- but the main problem was never fixed. My truck was returned in the same condition I dropped it off, and I lost almost a week of work because of their delay. Poor communication, no progress updates, and no urgency at all. For a company that's supposed to keep commercial trucks on the road, this experience was completely unacceptable. If you rely on your truck for your business, I recommend avoiding this Rush Truck Center location.

They fixed two coolant hoses that apparently have been rubbing against the engine for years and finally wore through! We were back the road by 2pm.
