This place is fine as long you don't need to interact with the owner…read more The owner is very well coached by her lawyer and is very concerned about her waivers being filled out. She's less concerned about the children and communicating with the parents on ways to handle any incidents that may come up. I only met her today after 3 years of being there. I suggested she make herself more available for parents by possible adding a picture and a bio to her website or maybe wearing a shirt that says "owner." (She immediately told me how she was very accommodating and has been running her business for 35 years.) I also have never met or have known who my children's coaches are despite sitting in the lobby every week for 1 year. I guess this works for some people but If your children are younger and cannot advocate for themselves, I would recommend another studio/gym. The owner of this one isn't interested in children and their emotional well being but more of the business.

This review is comparing this type of business to others in the area, not to businesses and…read morecustomer service at such businesses inlarger metropolitan cities. That would not be fair. My son absolutely loves parkour class. From what I can tell the coaches are emotionally connected, not unkind, and are fairly skilled teachers. I say from what I can tell because the management ensures it's nigh near impossible for whatever reason for the parents or caregivers to see what is happening when their child is inside the classroom. Unlike some studios that have an open gym with the viewing area this one not only has no windows to the gymnastics room but also teeny tiny video screens you really can't tell what's going on or which one your child is. They have "no parent" signs on every door! and if you want to see a class before deciding whetherto plop down hundreds of dollars forget it. They will not allow parents to go inside and watch because it "will distract the children", and " there isn't enough room". For the record the rooms are huge but it's a business, they have a corner on the market in the area, doubt they're going to change policy for any parents anytime soon, quite antiquated. There's a lot of exotic animals here - parrots, turtles etc. Apparently there is a kind hearted and rescuing zoologist on staff, random and unexpected... kind of neat. The animals seem to get good care. Heads up they will not send you a heads up email but you will definitely get charged a late fee every month if you do not pay on time. Also charged if you use a credit card. Also the siblings play area in the lobby costs money. This is a new one for me also. Maybe it's because there are "staff" in there "watching" your child. Ahem, don't go too far. So I feel like I would be neglectful in this review I didn't mention that my child was injured pretty badly in a class here and although according to him and his teachers he was following directions and no one was to blame, no one told me. My kids are pretty tough and play hard, but this injury required multiple visits to the chiropractor and a lot of days with heat and ice on the couch. They didn't bother letting me know until I called and sent an email the next day alerting them and wondering if anyone noticed anything. The response was not really concern for my child but instead defending the teachers and the programs safety which wasn't even the point. That was disappointing but not surprising. We decided to continue on because he loves it so much but with a little trepidation. That being said, the gym section has lots of good equipment and the kids love it and the teachers seem pretty good. Price is reasonable. Welcome to Mooresville North Carolina!

Community theatre is the heart of downtown Concord is full of charm, local talent and so much fun!…read moreI have attended quite a few plays, but this time we took in "A Time to Kill" and it was a delight! The quaint theatre boasts beautiful stained glass windows and comfy seats and the cozy community theatre vibe where no seat in the house is a bad one. We were on the front row center this time and loved it! The actors in this production were spot on and I loved the OCT adaption of the book/movie. The comedic moments had us laughing, but the serious moments were quite powerful in this intimate setting, and even though I knew the story, found myself leaning towards the stage waiting to see what was next! Visit the website for upcoming plays and patronize this precious hometown gem, you won't be disappointed! There is local artwork for sale in the lobby and light refreshments offered as well for reasonable prices. For every play I've attended at least part of the cast is mingling with the patrons following the play and I just adore that! So fun to chat with them and share your thoughts about that night's production. I can't wait to go back soon...seriously - check it out! It's not fancy but full of charm, not pricey but well worth the ticket price and not broadway, but an awesome way to spend a couple of hours and support local actors and musicians - what more can you ask for?

Each show is pretty affordable, everything we've seen thus far has been amazing! I love having this little gem in Concord. I will say the place could definitely use some TLC, as it is very old and slowly deteriorating and falling apart on the inside. Aside from that, we've never had any problems here. There's ample parking, lots of seating and space inside, clean bathrooms, and the prices are low and realistic, which is a huge plus!
