If you're like me, the thought of a ROOT CANAL would make your SKIN CRAWL. When a regular cleaning revealed a cavity that may be deep enough to have a root canal and crown, I wondered, "Was it really that bad?" Dr. Farmer's technology is second to none. Using both X-rays and a tiny camera that can fit anywhere in the mouth, he showed me my problem; I knew he wasn't just taking me for a ride. Then came the blood pressure spike of the root canal. Looking back, I don't know what I was stressing about. All of those horror stories I had heard about root canals were laid to rest quickly with Dr. Farmer at the reins. I barely felt anything, I couldn't believe it! And best yet, he made my crown in ONE VISIT with his in-office machine. There were no messy impressions with that gooey stuff plastered to my face and hair, no temporary crown that was going to pop off the first meal I ate and no waiting two weeks on a lab to get me my real crown. I'm so thankful for Dr. Farmer's talent in saving my tooth because once you lose one, you're on a downward spiral. 4 years ago, my son's filling had fallen out on a Friday afternoon. The dentist we went to before was getting ready to retire, so he was only open a few days a week and Friday was not one of those days. I was worried that my son was going to have a toothache because of loosing his filling. My mom called almost 20 dentist and Dr. Farmer at Lake Pointe Dental Care was the ONLY one willing to fit my son in on a Friday afternoon! We have been extremely satisfied with Dr. Farmer and his friendly staff. You never wait in the waiting room for long periods of time and the front desk staff are friendly! Dr. Farmer and his staff are very wonderful people. He adjusted his schedule to see me as an emergency visit and wasn't rushed, rude or aggravated about having to do so. Best technology in use. You can see everything going on with your teeth and mouth before and after. Dr. Farmer is very conservative in his treatment and will not advise any unnecessary work.
