She told me my ankle was sprained and that I would be fine in two weeks, NEVER ONCE saying anything about following up with another doctor. A few weeks later I had no choice but to see another doctor because I still could put zero weight on my foot. He was absolutely shocked that they missed 2 breaks and a torn ligament the way they had. I had to have two plates and screws put in my ankle it was so bad. He said there was absolutely no way an x-ray could have missed the amount of damage that was done, not even when it was a new break. Small fractures can be hard to detect when it's a new break, but this was no small fracture lol. Extensive damage had been done. My amazing insurance (whom I will also be filing a complaint against this establishment with) has already paid them hundreds of dollars for this amazingly bad care, so when we got yet another bill for 17+ dollars I didn't feel it fair that I should have to pay it. We then filed a complaint with grevence and asked them to waive this very small fee but they found in their favor saying I was told to follow up with another doctor......THIS IS A FLAT OUT LIE!!! I was never told anything close to that!!! I was specifically told it was NOT broken, that it was just a sprain and to stay off of it for two weeks. Not one word about following up with someone else. No discharge/after care papers or anything. They still want me to pay them another measly 17.50 even though they did absolutely nothing to help me, and have already received MORE then their fair share. I didn't even get a tylenol for the pain. I left that place in tiers and I'm still completely shocked at how badly they handled my entire situation. I trusted them and shouldn't have. PLEASEE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE!!! Asked Eldon if X-rays were available and was told yes and open till 7:00. Arrived @ 5:00. Went back in room 6:05 and was told by provider "Sorry, the X-ray tech leaves at 6:00!" Was told go to hospital ER for ultrasound! What an absolute waste of time at all three of Your facilities!! During this, I was lying undressed on the table and multiple doctors walked in and out without knocking. A male front desk person walked in (didn't knock) while I was fully uncovered. He proceeded to walk in again without knocking while I was getting dressed. One of the doctors suggested they call an ambulance to bring me to the ER and said that they think I have a blood clot in my lungs. They were talking to me like I was literally about to keel over. I inquired about the wait list policy, and I learned from the receptionist that people could make online appointments after my arrival and jump my spot in line - yet no one suggested I make an online appointment myself, and that's something I could easily have done. I operated in good faith, believing that I was slotted in to an open slot that corresponded to my arrival order, but this was not how it worked at all, according to the receptionist. Perhaps most vexing was the rudeness of a person I took to be the office manager. When I first arrived to check in, she announced loudly that the waiting room was entirely too full and the new procedure was for people to check in and wait in their cars. She shouted this information with a lot of dismissive gesturing. Later, I went in to check my order (I was fifth in line after 2 1/4 hours, and that was pretty much where I started), and she told me to sit down in the waiting area, then turned heel and walked away. Obviously, that was pretty inconsistent. I should note that the online intake form went to great pains to grab marketing information - "How did you learn about us?" had about a dozen options, none of which fit, so I ended up marking "Self," as if I'd invented the place. However, when it came time to say why I was there, I was stuck with the option of "illness." (I've learned I have a strep infection.) Mind you, "illness" covers a lot of ground. If I felt ill with a sore throat and congestion, which was the case, strep would seem to cover it; if a patient were sweating and aching with a feeling of pressure in the chest, that person could drop dead in the parking lot, waiting, with no one to notice any distress. It's completely irresponsible for an urgent care facility to ignore crucial triage information and then send people away to wait alone. Avoid this location, at least - the rudeness was kind of astonishing - and maybe avoid all Go Health locations. If you do go, be sure to make an appointment. They won't tell you that even a brand-new appointment trumps a 2-hour walk-in wait.

We've been to ERs that are so busy (with non er) patients, patients are placed on gurneys in the hall way to wait. So if you have a cold or tummy ache, go to urgent care. As to the one person they used instruments not approved. Ok are You a doctor or nurse? If not STFU. If you don't want wait, go move to KC metro they have "24 hour ERs that are more like 24 hour current care. Yes there are truly incompetent healthcare providers everywhere (KC, St Louis, Chicago,etc) don't put the blame on small town physicians and or their hospitals. I ve used Bothwell for several types of surgeries and they are great. No issues. I've been to large city hospital for surgery and they fucked up, I'd send my children, family to Bothwell and feel confident in their care. Guess what I work in healthcare and I've seen how healthcare employees are treated with very special Karen's and needy spoiled adults and children. I'm so happy to see healthcare systems finally cracking down on all these worthless complaints. I give Bothwell 5 stars across the board. Remember all of you complainers ER stands for emergency room. Non emergent patients are triaged and come last after heart attack, seizure and stroke patients. If you have a cold or a boo-boo on your finger stay home.
