We rented two of the cabins and the amount of space inside was perfect for this family of 4! Each kid got their own loft, we had a bed with wonderful space. The number of things to do while there was perfect for the ADHD kids and the ability to sit and watch them do ALL THE THINGS was perfect for this tired momma! We played mini-golf at 6:45 am, horseshoes at 6:54 am, and playground at 7 am to just start all over again (multiple times)! Definitely plan your drinking schedule with the fact that the bathroom is not in the cabin but still close! We had s'mores on the fire pit and two nights of BBQ! We even swam in the lake and the kids LOVED the inflatables (even the 40-year-old fat dudes got out there). The owners were incredible and friendly. Really can see that they care and have built a wonderful community. We will be back!

On the…read moreplus side, they have sites with electricity and running water available, there are neat little vehicles like pedal go carts and electric scooters available for rental (as well as golf carts), there's a nice video arcade, a pretty well stocked general store, a snack bar, and a great little pond with all sorts of massive inflatable pool toys for kids to play on (big rafts and whatnot). On the minus side, there's not much in the way of hiking around there, and the campsites are carved up into pretty small areas. It's equivalent to taking a huge nice apartment in chicago and making 3 condos out of it. Where we were was nice, but I wouldn't want to be here on a big weekend. Also, check in is at an oddly late 3 PM time. It's extra to check in earlier than that unless they tell you otherwise. Overall, this place would be great for people with kids that don't really want to 'rough it' as much as chill in front of a fire. The quiet time is a family friendly 10 PM. I would not recommend it for a group of folks who want to party outdoors late. But if you have a group with a lot of kids say 5-11, I'd highly recommend it.

Shower cost $0.25. Best for RV campers who enjoy the challenge of a non-level site and have access to unlimited leveling blocks. Electricity hasn't been updated from original installation 50+ years ago. (Seriously, it's from the 60's). Cannot support advertised 30 amp service. 15 amp service was questionable at best. RV's with a fridge or water heater, expect to use your propane. A/C is not supported, and usage within any camper on your block blows the main fuse. Eventually the owner replaces the fuse after an hour, and the process repeats. No compensation or refunds are available. There is a $10 deposit for any reservation. The rest is paid on arrival. The owner will pressure for payment while campers are actively setting up on their site. There is a pool. You can use it... Trees are not maintained with in the campground. Many low branches, dead and alive. Roads are not suitable for larger campers or Any Big Rig. Many large, dead hanging branches within the campground. Pavilion/shelter for rent: Not available upon arrival, after reserving a year in advance. The pavilion is a garage that is mostly full.

When we arrived, we found that our sites had been undergoing construction. There was a small patch of grass left, but the rest was gravel, not to mention the large deep ditch, surrounded by yellow caution tape. There was a 6 to 8 inch drop off from the grass to the gravel which was irregular and quite dangerous, especially in the middle of the night. Many of us complained but a discount was refused, site changes were refused, no compensation was offered for what we paid for most definitely being not as described in the advertising on their website. Since we had no other alternatives and other plans for the weekend that could not be changed, we decided to stay. None of us will ever return to this campgrounds, and will make as many people that we can aware of the uncomfortable and dangerous situation that was forced on us with no consideration at all

Pretty much had the pool to ourselves on Thursday, but it was pretty busy around noon on Saturday, which is to be expected. We spent about 12 hours total in the pool area throughout our day. They also have a basketball court and a volleyball court, mini golf (for an additional charge) and a small arcade area. They also have two bars and food available to purchase. You can eat there, get it to go, or have it delivered to your campsite. Drinks were priced cheaper than they are at our local bar back home. They also had different activities going on throughout the weekend. If you download their app, they will send you a notification 15 minutes before any events. Campsites are pretty close together, but we enjoy meeting new people, so that wasn't an issue for us. Also, some people want a quiet campground, and I wouldn't say this is necessarily one. There were a lot of different groups of people hanging out pretty late and having a good time. Again, not an issue for us, but something that should be noted for those that want quiet campsite. We did not use the showers or bathroom facilities often, but they were pretty clean anytime I went in there. Campground is also animal friendly. We had our dog and he enjoyed the dog run area they have. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms were truly next level for a campground--spacious stalls, tile finishes, automatic soap and towel dispensers, and very clean showers. They were some of the nicest campground facilities we've experienced. The inflatables on the lake were a huge hit with the kids, and the beach had perfect soft sand for swimming, sandcastles, and relaxing. The kids also loved both pools and spent hours enjoying the water. Our granddaughter was thrilled to win bingo during our stay! We appreciated the little details that made camping easier. Garbage was picked up at our site multiple times a day, and staff watered the roads to keep the dust down. My favorite feature was the dump station--hoses were already hooked up and ready to use, making the process quick and easy. More campgrounds should do this. The mini golf course was fun, the campground store had a great selection of toys that the grandkids loved, and quiet hours were actually respected, which made for peaceful evenings. Indian Trails does an excellent job creating a fun, family-friendly camping experience while keeping the campground clean, organized, and comfortable. We'll be back!

Root beer float was a decent one. There was a complimentary softee cone, a kayak rental and a bundle of wood. That was a nice surprise.
