Another time I was told to reschedule after I said that we were just 5 minutes away from the clinic. We live in another town, in the past driving all the way here was ok as Dr Rooney was kind. My daughter asked: why are you naming some of my teeth numbers and others letters? Dr. Shapiro kindly answerd "Letters are the baby teeth you still have and numbers are your grown up teeth" Even when we had differing opinions on care planning for my daughter's teeth she was respectful and understanding of my views. They also included my daughter in the care and planning of her dental care by offering choices of toothpastes like Bugglegum, Apple, Orange, and grape.
