I was having noise/grinding in the rear end of my Ford F150. My technician, Kaleb, met me at 800am on the drop off day. He drove the car with me to ensure he heard what I was hearing. After I left, they performed an 80 point inspection. The results of the inspection identified things that were wrong and needed immediate fix. It also identified "should haves" based on mileage and timing. The text allow me to "accept" or "decline" the service. I phoned for clarification on one item and was given a thorough explanation. I authorized them to perform the tasks I needed most. I received a call at 430pm that night indicating my car was done. I will be going back to Solomon's for future car repair needs.

I will let all my USA affiliates know about the way they operate and treat you like a criminal. Never in all my years have I dealt with this. I said right from the start, the starter wire (common on Volvo trucks) or battery cables loose. I told him I will put him on our perferred list, if he was fair, but obviously he didn't care. I asked several times for the part number and he played stupid. I had both the Delco Remy and OEM numbers to confirm what he was attempting to put on and we ended up putting the old one on again and it was the starter wire like I said. This guy turned and said $850. And I said no! We fought and he put it down to $650. but we should not have paid more than the agreed service call of $350. as he was just trying to pull a fast one. We had an important load to deliver and he screwed us up on that too. I would check his credentials as a mechanic, because they shouldn't be crooked. I have been in the trucking business for decades, have come across shady characters before but this guy tops all, my driver even said that he was just screwing us and wasting our time. Starter wire...6 hours????? This place is a joke!
