I have had nothing but great experiences here. The owners run the place and are always extremely friendly. I grab a bag of whole bean coffee for home and an oat milk latte for the road. I'm in and out quickly and have a great coffee to enjoy both now and later. There's no place to sit inside, but there are shared tables and chairs on the sidewalk that could work in warmer weather. read more

A very cute coffee shop in Medford Lakes. However, it has absolutely no indoor seating and only outdoor seating, so be forewarned it's not a place to go and do work. I got an iced vanilla latte, which was too sweet for my taste. Super limited parking in the lot and only 1 hour parking in front of the store. Staff were nice but I don't think I'd go out of my way again to visit due to lack of seating. read more

I've lived in Medford for over 30 years and recently visited here for the first time ever. I moved out but came here in October on a small hometown visit weekend. Granted it's about 10 mins from where I was, but I typically go to the smoothie/juice shop and never noticed this coffee shop. The line was short on the day I visited, but I ordered an iced vanilla latte which came out very quickly. I was so surprised bc my latte was delish! Will be back in the future! read more

Out of the spots to go to between Harvest, Roast, or Lakes. Lakes would probably be last. The Dark Roast was overwhelming and tough to drink. The medium dark is just passable and lacks boldness. Also lacks food options with only 2-3 pastry options. Must give them credit, they do excellent marketing and have seen them at other places. It's the same blend as their shop so if it's further places like Moores or Cream Cafe wouldn't be a recommendation. read more

My favorite coffee place in the area! It's hard sometimes with nondairy milk for a drink to not be watery, but every time I get my iced vanilla latte with almond milk it is so smooth and delicious! The coffee really is delicious and bold but not overbearing. A perfectly balanced drink! read more

Today I stopped by Lake coffee in Medford Lakes. This amazing coffee shop sits on a beautiful street across from a gorgeous lake. The barista was super nice and I also met the owner who was also very nice. I got a cinnamon muffin and I got the pistachios latte which was so good!! Highly recommend. Lakes Coffee. I cannot say enough good things about this coffee shop. From the quality of the coffee to the comfortable atmosphere it brings, Lak cannot be beat. No matter how you like your coffee; iced or hot, dark roast or light roast, macchiato or latte, you are going to find it at Lakes coffee. Hungry? Get yourself a pastry or bagel . I got there 20 minutes after they opened and was the second person in line, 10 minutes later the line was almost out the door. This area in general is so woody and whimsical with a lot of different paths, antique stores and bookstores. The café itself is connected to an antique store and the seating is all refurbished antiques. The ambience and whimsy that this café brings gives me so much joy! The coffee and the donuts that they had were absolutely incredible. I had a hot tiramisu latte and I ended up getting six donuts for a Mother's Day celebration. The donuts were fluffy, steamy and freshly made. I usually am not a cooked fruit person, but the way that they incorporated the fruits in all of these pastries was absolutely divine. The coffee had the perfect balance of sweetness to the boldness of espresso. And with your drink sweet treats, you can take a walk around the little town and enjoy the weather and the scenery. 10/10 experience. They go super light on the milk. It was nothing super special. My cousin ordered the same coffee, and also some of the baked goods. The whipped cream donut was incredible. So were the filled donuts. Not boring, lots of filling, not dry. My uncle tried the Vietnamese coffee, he said it was okay. I really wish they had more food options. Im moving out of state soon, and have been curating a list of places I wanted to try before leaving. This spot was #1 on my list.

The wrap, I didn't realize, was premade, refrigerated, so it was cold. And it was fried chicken in the wrap so if it was ever crispy, it was not a mushy mess and tasted gross. I can only imagine it's rated highly by people working in this building who don't have time to go somewhere better for lunch.
