Darrell, the owner, and his worker Nate were fantastic from start to finish. We originally noticed a bump in the bathroom floor that turned out to be a moisture issue. A mitigation company came in to remove the damaged flooring and toilet and dry everything out. After that, we started collecting quotes from contractors--and chose Darrell because he was by far the most straightforward and transparent. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave us a fair quote, and didn't sugarcoat anything. Once we agreed to move forward, Darrell even handled communication with our insurance company and got the project covered. That alone was a huge help. The work itself turned out great. Darrell and Nate installed new subflooring, laminate that we picked out, and new baseboards. After the job was done, we did notice a couple of minor issues--one with the baseboard seal and another with the threshold transition that my wife wasn't happy with. Darrell came back out promptly and made sure both were addressed to our satisfaction. I've included some photos of the bathroom after mitigation and the finished result--the difference speaks for itself. Great company, easy to work with, and reliable. We're already considering another bathroom remodel, and we'll absolutely be going with Darrell again.

That and our comfort with Darrell made our choice easy. We made some big changes to our second story deck, so it took some time for a structural engineer to get plans in place but, the final product was well worth the wait. Darrell and Ed worked to make sure our deck was sturdy and well built. We now have an extended deck with awning that actually comes from above the roof line. We provided him a rendering of roughly what we wanted, but didn't have much else so he had to ask a lot of questions to bring the design to life. He showed up on site (a 30min drive one-way for him) to put eyes on the space, then gave us a quote in person. The cost was a bit high for our budget (due to the complexity of the project), so we worked a few changes to lower the cost into our range. After we signed the proposal, he started immediately. He said it would take 10 days and he met that timeline. Throughout the project he had a few questions and alternatives, and he didn't move forward without first getting our input. He went above an beyond with quality, you can tell he loves the work he does and takes pride in his work; he did not cut any corners. I would recommend him to anyone; if my grandma needed a new set of stairs, Jim is my first call. He is trustworthy, quality, and fairly-priced. When they came to give us an estimate, Andres crawled up in our crawl space to really get a good feel for what our insulation looked like and to see how the roof looked like from the underside. They made suggestions to us for things that should be done even if they weren't the contractor that did them. After interviewing other roofers, we decided to give Innovators our business. They added some insulation in a few places that didn't have it for a very reasonable price and did a top notch job with the air flow. Now, in the heat of the summer, the house is at least a 10 degree difference from the same heat last year. It is amazing! The roof looks beautiful! They came back to fix one little part immediately and we could not be happier! So, we have hired them for 2 other projects and been completely pleased with their work. Nelson is super easy to work with on the business side and Andres is a total perfectionist when it comes to his work. Superior had a competitive price, but it was the way they handled the bid process that sold us. Matt was knowledgeable and very unsalesman like. He didn't pressure me or make a hard sale and was patient while we decided how to move forward with this very major project. He just patiently and efficiently answered every question either in person or over text and email. Alanna in the office was great at communicating throughout - from start to finish. She confirmed our appointment for the bid, even sending me a picture of Matt beforehand so I'd know who to expect, then sent me many informational guides, forms, receipts, etc. throughout the process. She never missed a beat and was so understanding and helpful while I tried to choose paint colors - helping out where my colorblind husband could not! Our house turned out to be a rotten mess with no insulation beneath the original siding, and Matt and his crew really problem solved to help us get it fixed without going too far out of our budget. Artie was endlessly patient with my many questions during the initial discussion phase and showed flexibility and creativity in solving problems as we hammered out the plan for my exterior remodel. Both he and Matt (my project manager) showed a willingness to resolve my every concern to make sure I was happy with the result. When I interacted with the company office, both Michelle and Alanna impressed me with their clear communication and friendly demeanor.
