I was used to leasing or purchasing a vehicle every two years for the last twenty years. because of that I've dealt with quite a few sales representatives from the various auto dealerships where I either leased or purchased a vehicle. I met Oscar Perria at Lakeshore Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge. He wasn't my salesperson, but he helped me more than anyone I have ever dealt with. He helped me with everything I needed without receiving a penny for his efforts. The Jeep I initially purchased did not have some of features I was used to, so I committed what thought was a mortal sin in the car business. I traded the car that I purchased in for a newer updated version just a month after I purchased the 2025. With Oscar's help, he, and AJ Delaneuville, the finance manager, fixed the error I made, painlessly and affordable. As I said earlier, Oscar Perria is the best salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He's extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles they offer. HIs professionalism, along the knowledge he provides, goes a long way towards making you feel comfortable with making your purchase of a new vehicle. He does it all without adding any pressure. He has also been helping ever since my purchase. I'm not sure about anyone else, but every time I purchased a new vehicle I had to go through a period of learning. Before Oscar, I was left to learn on my own. Now that I have Oscar I feel really comfortable knowing that all I have to do is call him and he re-walks me through everything. So, do yourself a favor. Do not bring your vehicle to the service department here unless you're willing to wait forever to get it back. Brought my Jeep in on a Wednesday and they said I would have it by Saturday or Monday. Apparently, it sat there till Monday before they even looked at it to find out they needed to order the part. It has now been 11 days and i'm leaving this review late on a Saturday afternoon and they are still giving me the runaround for something that should've been a pretty quick and easy fix so I am without a vehicle for at least two weeks if not longer. I had previously brought my jeep to them a little over a year ago for some maintenance work and received the same treatment. I have learned my lesson and suggest you find somewhere else to service your vehicle that has better customer service and communication. This is all for a recall which killed my HV battery and I had to get my Jeep towed there. My experience with Lakeshore Jeep in Kenner has been extremely disappointing and has fallen far below the level of customer service I expected when purchasing a brand-new vehicle. During the sales process, promises were made regarding customer support and service after the purchase. Unfortunately, once the sale was completed, those commitments seemed to disappear. When issues arose that required dealership attention, instead of taking responsibility and assisting their customer, I was told to bring my vehicle to another dealership for service. As someone who purchased their vehicle directly from Lakeshore Jeep, I find it unacceptable that they would not stand behind the product and services they sold. Communication has been equally frustrating. Numerous phone calls have gone unanswered, and messages have not been returned. This forced us to take time out of our day and drive to the dealership in person simply to get answers. What made the situation even more frustrating was arriving to find employees sitting behind their desks with little customer traffic, yet apparently unable or unwilling to answer the phone or return calls. Customer service should not end the moment paperwork is signed. Purchasing a new vehicle is a major investment, and customers deserve honesty, accountability, and support throughout the ownership experience. Instead, we have been met with poor communication, a lack of follow-through, and an unwillingness to fulfill commitments that were made at the time of purchase. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe potential customers should be aware of the level of service they may receive after the sale. We agreed on a $71,000 deal for two 2025 vehicles, only for management (Mr. Avery) to pull a blatant bait-and-switch: they refused to buff out two tiny cosmetic scratches unless we agreed to use their in-house financing, and threatened early payoff penalties on our deposit. Conditioning basic reconditioning on forced, predatory financing is coercive and disgraceful business. We walked away, jumped on AutoTrader, and immediately bought better vehicles with lower miles for less money. Take your business elsewhere. The salesman was Termaine. We came in around 7pm and didn't leave until close to 11pm, but it was 100% worth it--we left with exactly what we wanted for our new family-of-four vehicle. Beware of LakeshoreKenner. THE BEST PRICE FOR CAR IS $2000 MORE THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED AND PRE PURCHASE INSPECTIONS NOT ALLOWED. Jamaal did the "come in and talk to me" routine dodging my two questions. I need best price, which he gave me $2000 higher than dealer listing, and can I get a pre purchase inspection, which Jamaal and presumably the dealer DID NOT agree to. Why wouldn't a dealer allow their cars to be inspected????? DETAILS. Jamaal posted a 2012 VW Eos for sale under his own name on FB marketplace which he priced at 9500 but the dealer listing was 7500. (Eos is hardtop convertible, no photos or video of the 14 year old top working) I then asked Jamaal for the best sales price and guess what it was? 9500. I alerted him to the fact I knew it was 7500, and he said he didn't know the price was lower, "have a good day". He either didn't do his job and ask for the best price, or he knew it was $2000 less than in his personal post, but he certainly should know the price of the cars he is selling. Doesn't agree to PRE PURCHASE INSPECTION? That speaks for itself. The service department is absolutely terrible. They claim to do their "due diligence" and return calls but they do not. Multiple phone calls go unreturned. Our 2022 Jeep was brought in over the summer with issues. After having it for two weeks they said it was a voltage issue and changed the battery. We told them we thought it was a transmission problem but they disagreed. Fast forward to September and the issue happens again. Lo and behold it's a transmission problem. They have had our car for two weeks now and they still have not fixed it. They also did not have a car for us to use temporarily. We are forced to go through a rental car company which is a whole other mess. I would never buy a car from this dealership or use their service department. Avoid at all costs. read more

I contacted the dealership regarding a Corvette I saw on Auto Trader. I contacted the dealership on a Saturday to inquire and told Joe the sale manager that I was interested. He had Nick a salesperson send me pictures of the car and I told him I want to put a deposit on it and he said they don't take deposits. But since it was Labor Day weekend they were slow and to call back Tuesday to discuss a deal. I contacted Nick on Tuesday and told him I was ready to make a deal. He informed me he was off for the day so I contacted Joe the Sales Manager. He had Mack call me to work the deal. I sent Mack my drivers license and he sent the credit application. He told me to complete it ASAP and he would call me back. Once I completed the app he said I would hear from the finance manager shortly. Two hours passed and I did not hear from Mack. I called the dealership and him directly and could not get him. He called me back and told me they had someone else that walked in AFTER he started my paperwork and they were working a deal with them. I asked how can they do that after they had already agreed to numbers with me and ran my credit. I was told that since I was not there I got bumped by the walk-in. I asked to speak with Mike his Manager and again was told that the person in front of them gets the deal even they they had started my paperwork and ran my credit. Mike said that if I was on site it would not have happened so basically I was penalized because I was an out of state buyer. I think that it very unfair that I was penalized because I was an out of state buyer. And I don't think it's right that I get hit with a credit inquiry and was not allowed to purchase the vehicle. It can only be about three years old maybe four when the first got it up and running it was OK now they switched everybody out and then they had absolutely no technicians there the ones they did have only change tires or your oil today being August 9 they claimed their so backed up with so many people. Made an appointment to drop my Jeep off two weeks in advance for a busted ac, dropped it off early Monday morning and was told it would probably take a couple of days. Wednesday rolls around and myself and my husband start trying to call just to see the status of the car. We leave voicemails, no word back whatsoever. They never answer the phone. Finally after going through the receptionist for sales (who seems just as annoyed with this as us) we get a hold of someone Thursday around 4pm who asks if it's okay to run a diagnostics on it??? WHAT?! You've had it for 4 business days and haven't even run the test on it yet?? Why did I even make an appointment? Of course run it, we're a family with one vehicle. Yeah, obviously we brought it here to be fixed. They run it on Friday, tell us the problem, thousands of dollars, sure whatever just fix it. They said it'll be ready early next week. Annoyed but fine, no car weekend with 100 plus temps and a toddler, not great but what are you gonna do? Tuesday evening they say it's 80% done (found this out only because we called 6 times in a row, definitely not because anyone reached out to us) and that we would have it by noon Wednesday. Great, I make plans accordingly. Call multiple times in a row again on Wednesday at 2 as no one has reached out yet.... 'we'll it's fixed but now the car won't start so we need to replace the battery.' 'Wait, why? We brought in in for ac maintenance what's happening?' 'I don't know, maybe he left something on or running so we need to change it.' 'Okay, can you do that now then? We need our car back by tomorrow.' 'I don't think so, he works late but I think it'll be ready in the morning.' So we're on day ten of zero communication coming from them, zero sort of apology or acknowledgement of how crazy this is and we still don't even know if we'll get it back this week...supposed to leave to go out of town Friday so I guess we'll find out. I'd also like to state that I have never once in my life written a bad review of any sort of establishment. I've worked across enough fields to know that sometimes there's just a bad day but this has been by far the most unprofessional experience I've had. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND MONEY! I wish I would have read the reviews before I brought my car here to be serviced. It took my car over 2+ weeks to be serviced, and not even completely done. Misplaced charges, hidden fees, and wanting to charge me for my own car parts. My old parts, not needed to be taken off were removed and sent back for them to receive a credit($). And additionally, I was charged for new parts not needed. Over $2k in charges. The service department as a whole has poor communication skills and lacks empathy or care for customers. The manager, Antonio Rosado leads his team to continue to work this way as he does not answer his direct line or return calls based on voicemails or messages left. Speaking to him in person does nothing as his lack of concern, care, or effort to resolve issues are very evident. Extremely disappointing. I was fixing my car to gift to a family member and was gonna buy a new car from this dealership. Zero Stars! Purchased a vehicle from this dealership in November of 2024, and this process has been the most unprofessional, unpleasant, and deceiving sales dealership I've ever dealt with. I still have yet to receive the registration and license plate to legally drive the vehicle on the road as the temp tag has expired. The dealership lied to Stellantis financial, myself, and now is lying to their own attorney to sue me for sales tax that was already handled in November at the dealership. You may fool me once, but you can't fool GOD, and I don't do business this way, which is why I am leaving a negative review. This is my first negative experience from all of my reviews. The dealership sues their customers with the intention to screw over the customer. It would be crazy if I was the only negative review, but it seems to be a pattern of bad reviews. BUYER BEWARE! I was interested in a 2022 Jeep Rubicon with an asking price of $ 49,900. My husband got stuck at work so I went by myself. I met with the salesman, Brandon who was great, until the "manager, Joe" came in. Joe was rude, cocky and very unprofessional. Joe stated that he was NOT budging on the $ 49,988 asking price for a used vehicle! He stated that the price is firm and he post the lowest internet price to get people in there, hence why "you" came in! I told him that the "check engine" light came on during test drive along with the tire and another sensor light. I explained that his asking price was $6,000 higher than the Kelly Blue Book value and $ 1,000 OVER the original owner purchase price! But offered me $2,000 lower than the Kelly Blue Book value for my trade! I felt like because I was a female there by myself he was belittling and lying to me, especially with pricing! I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance to get my car serviced. I showed up to my appointment for them to tell me that they did not have a technician to work on my vehicle and that if I left my vehicle there it would sit for 3 weeks. I asked why I was not notified that there would not be a technician to work on my vehicle and was told that 3 weeks ago when I made the appointment they had technicians, and now they do not. So, my name had been on the books for 3 weeks yet they could not notify me that they lost all of their technicians. As I am being told this, a man walks in and says he has an appointment and they proceed to take his keys to service his car. I then asked how there was a technician for him and not for me when we both had appointments, and I did not receive an answer. His solution to this was for me to bring my car to Slidell or Laplace and hope they could do same day service. This is utterly ridiculous as I planned my day around this appointment that was set 3 weeks in advance to show up and get turned away. This place is a sorry excuse for a dealership. Has been issues since day 1. I bought my vehicle here in March of 2022. I paid extra money for extended warranty to ensure that my vehicle gets the best care. WRONG. I live over an hour away and try to communicate about my vehicle over the phone but the service department does not answer. ever. I even leave messages for the service department and the service manager and receive NO call back. they " do not have loaner vehicles available" due to them being a "new-dealership " . they told me I was responsible to pay for a rental car while they work on my vehicle that has needed extensive services on broken parts the 3 times it's been in service this year. It takes forever to even get a service appointment due to them being "short staffed" even if that means you're driving around a newborn baby in a vehicle with NO BRAKES. All of these times of service , they tried to pass it off as "maintenance issues" so it wouldn't be covered by warranty. This time, it has been at the dealership for 4 weeks and still have no idea when it will be ready. no one is answering the phone or returning messages. -not even service manager or manager of the entire dealership. NEVER BUYING FROM HERE AGAIN. and canceling my warranty the first chance I get. read more

This dealership doesn't want to sell cars. Called about a car we saw online a little after 9 am. No one answered the phones for 45 minutes. Got a receptionist on the phone that said none of the sales people were available. I left my number. Several hours later someone called me back. We were within $1000 of a mutually agreed-upon price. The salesman said he would talk to the manager and get back to us. No return phone call. A week later a different person calls us from the dealership to see if we are still interested. We said yes and they said they would get with the manager and call us back. No return phone call. A week goes by and the same thing occurs. We ended up buying the exact same car for less than what we offered them from another dealership. Just looked online and now they are offering the car for less than what we had offered. If I could give them negative stars I would. Don't trust anything that they say. Triple check your paperwork. The sales manager is the epitome of why nobody trusts car salesmen. My wife got the financing on my truck. We had negotiated a price and several discounts. After I left they switched the paperwork. They didn't give the discounts that they promised. They came up with BS excuses. It took months before I got my bill of sale that they "forgot to put in the paperwork". Now I know why. They actually added extra charges. The sticker price on the truck went up thousands of dollars. I read some of the other reviews on here where they said they were treated like family. With a family like this who needs enemies. I will be contacting an attorney and seeing if legal action is possible. Stay as far away from these people as possible! A friend of mine purchased his truck from Rainbow on the north shore. When the factory ran out of the truck that he ordered they honored the price on the next year's model. Buy from them. It's worth the ride.
