Excellent staff, modern and comfortable facility. Dr. Ring is a true professional, proud LSU grad and a pretty funny guy, too! He has created an efficient and cost effective treatment plan for my teeth that have seen many years of no dental insurance. Extraction performed recently was a tough one but Dr. Ring was patient with me and made sure I was completely numb before he started work. Even late at night when the pain wouldn't go away, he returned the after hours call quickly and offered to meet me at the office at almost midnight! I highly recommend this team. I have been coming to Lakeshore Family Dentistry since before it was in its current, beautiful location, and I can confidently say that this is the best dental practice that you could ever hope to visit. I no longer live in New Orleans, but I fly in from Washington, DC, Boston, or other cities I've lived in just to come here. They are that good! Everything about this practice works smoothly. Appointments are setup quickly and easily. The waiting room is posh and nice (although my one complaint is that they don't have a giant salt water fishtank--but I guess the 1980's are over). They have magazines and toys, and lots of light. The staff is extremely pleasant and fun to talk to. But the dentists here are simply better than the rest. It's because they care so much about their patients. You can tell that they really live for this stuff! It's not enough just to treat your dental problems, but they really followup on every academic angle. And they don't recommend any of the new fangled procedures that could damage your teeth. Want to know how careful they are? They recommend not using whitening toothpaste because of the grit it contains which could damage your enamel. They are plain speaking so you always know what they are going to do. They give you all the options and make a recommendation. I've never met a dentist that I trust as much as the Rings. I know they always have my best interests at heart. And they also don't ever overcharge or try to tack on extra procedural costs. In fact, I would say that coming here keeps my costs down! This is the #1, best ever place I've had my teeth cleaned. When I say I could not even feel the hygenist touching my teeth, it sounds ridiculous. But it's true. Dr. Ring told me that she is the best, and I mean, it's not possible to be any better than she is. The overall experience of visiting Lakeshore is top notch. They have state of the art facilities. If you have an emergency, they got your back! If every doctor cared as much as the Rings do, people would look forward to their medical care. It's that good. Considering that I go out of my way to visit this clinic in Slidell, I really cannot understand why you wouldn't drive here as well. If you want a dentist you can truly trust, who cares about you and your oral health, and who will control the costs of your dental care and keep them low, this is absolutely the best place you will ever find. Amazing front end and back end!! Normally you find an office and the back end is professional while the front end is rude or vise-versa. But they were so professional and nice. My daughter had an appointment and was seen by Tiffany. She is so lovely and kind. My daughter is somewhat nervous about being at the dentist and she made her feel most comfortable!!
