I called to make sure they had room for a pedicure, and they said yes if I could get here by 10. I arrived at 10:02 and the lady was RUDE to me and I even offered to leave. The entire time, she appeared to be bad, mouthing me to the guy there. The pedicure appears to be pretty good ( no extras hot towel or stone) the cheapest option being $53. Good pedicure, terrible no-chip. This place is a basic no frills nail salon with limited polish color selection. The pedicure experience was fine, but a few things have me pause. 1. They used a callus remover with a razor and did not ask permission first. In my experience at other salons this is a no-no. 2. No pedicure bowl liners. 3. The tools they used we're in a little basket, not a sanitary package or directly out of the autoclave. The pedicure polish application is very good, which makes me wonder why I received a terrible no-chip polish application. My sister had similar issues with her regular polish, so it's not due to the product used. The no-chip manicure I received is a disaster. It's patchy, there is polish all over my cuticles and the skin around my nails, and several areas are a bumpy AF. I am on vacation in the area and decided to treat myself, so luckily I won't ever have to come back to this place. read more

I went in to buy a gift certificate and the lady that waited on me was rude and lacking in customer service skills. She never said "hi, may I help you" instead it was "What you want?" There was only 1 customer and 2 workers, so she wasn't busy. Then she rudely stated as I went to pay with a credit card, " there will be an additional charge" which was more than 10% of the gift certificate's value because I wasn't paying in cash. Don't waste your time or money! The couple that run the salon (the only two that work with customers) are never friendly, complain about other customers while you get your nails done and are out worldly rude at times. I had gotten a fairly decent dip manicure a few times with Trina, so I made another appt., but Lee did my manicure. He hurried through it so fast, he painted several nails to my skin, which tore my skin and ruined my manicure when I tried to remove it. I was sure to schedule with Trina after that even though she made a few of my cuticles bleed at one visit. What was I thinking! I had an appt. that I rescheduled. a few days later I got a voice mail from Trina so I returned the call. She literally yelled at me saying I missed my appt that morning. I tried to tell it was for the following week, but she would not listen to me and just kept yelling. I wonder what the customers were thinking?! Getting your nails done should be a pleasant experience, so I recommend going somewhere else. I sure will! read more

Great place to have a pedicure. Went to other top rated place in Ludington and I'll never go back after coming to Lakeshore. This is the best place around. They were friendly and can get you in right away but their pedicure tools didn't seem clean enough for me. I couldn't see up close but from were I was sitting, their pedicure equipment looked like there was still chucks and nail polish from others on it! I went in to go get some acrylic nails fixed, they did an awesome job. While I was there I remembered that I needed top coat, I decided to get it there. The lady said she would see if she had any left and she said she did. It was $5. I got back to my boat and I opened it up and almost passed out!!! They did not sell me real OPI nail polish and I will be going back there tomorrow with my list of things that you can tell a real opi from a fake. How they treat me tomorrow will depend if I come back or not. Went back the next day, very rude. She threw my list of what was wrong with the polish on the ground and gave me the money.
