He was extremely kind and made us feel so welcome. The tent is beautiful! Everything is both aesthetically pleasing but also extremely comfortable. The bed was so great. All the linens were super soft and they had so many amenities. Literally everything you could need is readily available. Just bring things to stock your mini fridge and meals. They actually had a couple little tins with ingredients to make s'mores which I thought was such a wonderful and thoughtful touch. The bathroom was a dream. Don't miss an opportunity to soak in the gorgeous tub to views and sounds of the woods. I love that they included bubble bath as well. The grounds are spectacular! You will not be bored. They had great communal outside areas to hangout with games. Another with telescopes and gas fire tables. A wonderful outdoor kitchen. A walking trail which we didn't get a chance to do but plan on doing next time! They even had kayaks you can use at the lake nearby. Everything about my stay at Nine Pines was top notch. This is the best glamping experience you can find and I highly recommend. This would also be a great place for an event like a wedding or family reunion. It's so romantic. We spent the weekend spotting wildlife, grilling outside, and trying out the pizza oven (highly recommend--it's such a fun touch!). One of our favorite moments came when it rained. Sitting inside the dome, watching and listening to the rain through the huge windows, was peaceful and unforgettable. What I really loved is how versatile this retreat is. It's perfect for singles who want a quiet reset, couples on a romantic getaway, families with kids, or groups of friends just wanting to reconnect. Because everything in the area was booked, a Reserve America representative let me know which sites were available here on a first come first serve basis. We arrived at about 10pm on a Wednesday night. The sites that RA told me were available were luckily empty, but blocked off by orange cones. We went to one of the camp hosts to confirm that we were ok to stay the weekend there and he approved and said to move the cones and settle up in the morning. Because it was dark, we had no idea what the surroundings of the site looked like. Luckily, the next morning, we found out it wasn't too bad. We were in site 41, which was a pull through site. That means that you don't have to back in. Usually those type of sites cost more, but we paid the rate of a regular site. Our site wasn't in view of the lake, but it was within walking distance. There was a boat ramp, floating dock, and even a beach. The entire property is so immaculate, I just had to stop and compliment a lady tending to the beach area. She was so sweet and informed me that she takes care of the entire campground all by herself. From cleaning the bathrooms, to raking the beach, it was all her. I've been to many campgrounds this year and this was the most up kept. That lady is amazing!

You will go out into the woods in the wild. This is not some little ride in a field you up and down those rolling hills. The horses were beautiful and friendly. Our guide , Whitney was gorgeous and a wonderful guide. If you're a yankee like me you'll love the southern charm down here. It is cash only which is fine but I was unaware the guides work for tips and I gave the last of my cash to my relatives who were unprepared for cash sales. So bring some extra cash for the tip.

They offer two different rides, a 45 minute and a 90 minute ride. We did the 45 minute ride and that was just about right for us. We called an made reservations which is recommended. When we arrived at our time, they were all ready for us. We signed in and then they loaded us up for our ride. They have a platform to you can use to get up on the horse which was nice for my kids and my mom who was with us. It was a hot day and the ride for the most part was through the woods so it was pretty comfortable. The horses were great, and they pretty much know where they are going so for a inexperienced rider it was really nice. The guides were good and helpful and overall, it was fun time. Next time I might give the 90 minute ride a try but will make sure to do it when its a bit cooler. Great time and the people that work the stables were great to deal with.

An extreme amount ticks at the campground. Never experienced so many while camping. Three families and pets were picking them off left and right. One was the lonestar.The restroom was pretty well maintained. Probably wouldn't return due to the amount of ticks.

This review is about Hannigan's motorcycle tour to Israel. I have not used their motorcycle repair…read moreand trike shop in Murray, Kentucky, so no comment on that. If you ride a motorcycle, you probably like to travel and have an adventure. If twisting roads, great scenery, learning about other cultures, and exploring historic places you've heard about in the Bible, sound exciting; Israel is the place to go. My wife and I just returned from the Nov. 2014, 12 day tour. We enjoyed every minute of our journey and the tour far exceeded our expectations. The booking process: I booked the trip directly with the owner of the company: Ruth Anne Hannigan. She and her husband David are avid motorcycle riders, have personally led many tours to Israel, and know how to make the most out the short time there. The 12 days really flew by too quickly. The places visited: the first 3 days in Israel is done by tour van. Our local tour guide, Yuval DeJoannes spoke perfect English, and was quite knowledgable and experienced, explaining the historic significance of places visited. In all, there were about 20 historic and religious places explored. You can see the sample itinerary on Hannigan's website in the "Tour" section. Here are my favorites: City of Old Jerusalem, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is divided into 3 religious sections, a Catholic area, a Jewish area, and a Muslim area, Stations of the Cross Street, and walking on the same steps as Jesus did when he carried the Cross, the tunnel tour under the Wailing Wall, and finally exploring the Siloam Water tunnels under City of David. Motorcycle Riding: on the 4th day we went to Tel Aviv and picked up our motorcycles. Some had Suzuki VStrom 650's, I rode a Yamada TDM 900, a bike never imported into the US. The bikes were well maintained and had low miles. Although my wife rode most days on the back of my motorcycle with me, on the particular curvy roads with many switchbacks, she rode in the chase van so I can have lots of fun. She's a keeper. Israel is about the size of New Jersey. We drove south thru the Negev Desert to the beach town resort of Eliat on the Red Sea, Then north to the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee, the Fortress Masada, another UNESCO site, finally reaching Mt Hermon at the Syrian border. One gripe I made to Ruth, my wife and I are beach goers, I wish we would have a free day to spend on the beautiful beaches. Ruth stated she would consider a beach day in future tours. The hotels we stayed at were clean, the included buffet breakfast and dinner were good meals, and the hotel staff were welcoming. Lunch was not included and averaged $10-$20. Security: The young Israel Defense Force soldiers could be seen everywhere, ensuring the peace. At no time was I worried about my safety and felt completely at ease. Our guide avoided the Palestine controlled area Gaza Strip, as there was report of rock throwing and protests. To sum up, I have done other motorcycle tours including Edelweiss; I will think highly of this trip as one of the best motorcycle tours I have ever been on and the most memorable. I commend Ruth and David for a job well done and providing me with such an enjoyable touring vacation.
