I very much appreciate any hotel that does a hot breakfast, which they have. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, and I love that they have a good size fridge and microwave in the rooms. They have a little express market store to purchase snacks down in the lobby which is extremely convenient, and the staff is very kind. We arrived at 1:00 and tried to get early check in but they said the rooms weren't ready. We would have loved that to be an option, but that wouldn't keep us from coming back. This place is overall awesome.

The couch was stained with some sooty deposit and they didn't take care of it, but otherwise I have no complaints. Parking was free and plentiful. There was a pool I didn't use, and a gym that I did. Service was cordial and the breakfasts were the usual ones offered at Holiday Inn's worldwide. Confession - I have started to enjoy (crave?!) their biscuits and gravy. They are renovating downtown so parking is limited when workmen are there but we found parking close by over the three days we were here. We requested room tidy up one time and it wasn't done.
