Great Newsstand! I've been coming to this West LA newsstand for years and I've never been…read moredisappointed. Great selection of magazines and newspapers, and if they don't have it in stock, you can ask to have it special ordered. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and if you're a frequent customer they know exactly what you want so you can be in and out quickly when you're in a hurry! I purchase multiple mags/papers daily which they will set aside in advance if requested. In addition, they have added a beautiful collection of glassware as part of their smoke shop. I was in the market for a pipe as a gift and wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. John, the owner was able to explain the difference between all the varieties of pipes and smoking apparatuses. They even have the original hand made, one of a kind, imported Moroccan "Sebsi" pipes for concentrates, which are quite unusual and hard to find. (My purchase)

The store had a lot going on as far as the sale section and just merchandise everywhere as it's holiday season. I generally like browsing around just because. Store was pretty organized. We were approached by customers looking for staff assistance but seemed like they were a bit short staffed as we didn't see any besides at the checkout despite the store being somewhat busy.

I'm not a shopper so whenever I'm at the MOA accompanying friends or family, this is my go-to place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the mall. Friendly and fast service. Clean and a great deal for some peace and quiet! Many books and toys on sale!
