I took her to the pediatrician to have her face looked at, in hopes that she would open up and tell the doctor who really did this to her and to get advice on how to heal broken blood vessels. Unfortunately, based on the size and force of the mark, it may not have been a child. The director said that the child that my daughter named is too sickly to have done this. When I tried to get answers, I was repeatedly dismissed with, "What do you want me to do?" Their solution to bullying is simply moving the child, not addressing the issue or teaching the kids proper behavior. The cameras don't store footage for more than 72 hours, so it's impossible to get answers about what's really going on. The director's response when I expressed concerns about my child being hurt again was chilling: "I can't guarantee she won't get hit again. If you're not okay with that, this isn't the environment for her." I removed my daughter from this preschool and do not recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive environment for their child. It's like the McDonald's of Montessori--cheap and pretending to offer a quality Montessori.

We started with daycare services a couple days a week with the bonus of socialization for our little one. We continued attendance at the school for Early Admissions Kindergarten, Kindergarten and currently now have continued for elementary grades. Our daughter has flourished in the school's Montessori setting. All teachers have been warm and cheerful. They work extremely hard to create exciting and academic appropriate lessons for all levels of learning. Communication is excellent and I can easily access teachers for questions. The Montessori learning approach meets learners where they are and builds upon their strengths. Students are able to move at a learning pace that is flexible and not lock step. . . meaning students can advance into new learning content standards when ready. Students are not held back and can excel. The director Ms. George is one of the best teachers I have ever met. Her heart is big and she is dedicated to the success of the school and the learning of all students!! I cannot recommend this school enough!

Nor did she tell us. Parents found out when the state removed the teacher from the classroom, in person. Sandra, "Sandy," hid this on purpose, then had a yard sale to cover the fines. The abuser of my child was seen on that campus less than a week ago. She's not supposed to be there.

I have 3 children attending this school, and not 1 of them has a single complaint. This is the…read morefirst center which has felt like a second home. The teachers are attentive to each of my children as far as taking the time to learn their background, assess their needs, put plans and take steps to address their care needs, and most of all take the time to communicate with me about each one of my kids. They have always been great about sharing both successful days and not so successful days my children have. Truly each teacher has become a second parent to them. My oldest is now in Transitional Kindergarten and attends here outside of school hours. The teachers have the ability to drive her to and from elementary and not once has my critical 5 year old had a single bad thing to say about their driving. Believe me she is all about people doing the right thing as she knows it, and about letting her mommy know when anything is off. Truly my eyes and ears. Her teacher Mrs. Sheila takes the time to care about my child, help build her confidence so she can begin to quit thumb sucking, assists her with homework, and makes sure when she has no homework that on top of play time the complete an educational activity to encourage and further her learning. She is great to communicate with me when my daughter reaches a new milestone like writing her name with all letters facing the right way, and she is also great at letting me know what we could improve on as well as practical ways to do that as a single mother with multiple children. My middle child is in the 2's room. He is a 2 year old boy in all senses of the word as far as being physical and rowdy but to his credit also very aware and loving. He has had some behavioral issues which the director and other staff have worked hard to communicate with me on, as well as have tried extensively to help guide him with. I do not care for the behavior of his primary teacher or the lack of communication I have with her as I do not see her and am reliant on 3rd party information regarding most of my sons days. Regardless of my disconnect with his main class teacher, my son is still happy to go to his school daily which speaks words about the center as he has separation issues we are working through. The teachers who are with him in the morning upon drop off and evening upon pick up are amazing with him especially Ms. Amber, and as in the above class situation are great at checking in with me about how he is doing both good and bad, and happy to offer advice on situations as they arise. My youngest is in the infant room. She has been attending here since about August of 2018 when all 3 of my kids started here. This is the first school I did not call mid day to check in on my children with. Ms. Krista and Ms. Amanda in charge of care for my child I had no concerns. Krista is right in tune with my way of approaching life with confidence and intuition, and relying on experience. From day 1 Krista has been great at addressing my child's numerous health concerns and even taking the time to research the issues and approaches we can take, and then working with me collaboratively always respectful that my final say is key and I appreciate that more than words can say. My baby started with acid reflux and Krista took the time to cut her feeding down to smaller more frequent bottles always keeping her as upright as possible to feed which got my daughter through that stage of her life with the most comfort possible. Then continually there are times that her teachers are so intune they know there is a problem even when there are no outright signs like when they suspected something was off and my poor baby ended u having a double ear infection. Amanda is the sweetest teacher at the school. There has never been a day where I have seen her approach myself, another parent, or another child with anything except a smile and comfort in the way that she is. They both continuously encourage my daughter to reach the next milestones and encourage me to allow my baby to grow and continue to the next stages. They are cautious of germs, diet, diapers changed on time, of various mood swings my baby goes through, and on truly teaching the infant room rather than just playing or feeding the children which is not an easy task at such young ages. The director Mrs. Shannon is the most accommodating teacher and director I have ever met. She is all about making sure needs are met, concerns are address, and prides herself on helping make life easier for us parents which as a single mother of 3 ages 5 and under is invaluable! I could not recommend a better school or second home!

I trust them completely and highly recommend them to any parent! To name a few but not all; Amber, Gia, Liz, Kelly, John...I appreciate you all!

I told Little Learners about the past problems we had, and that in some ways my kid was working on rebuilding his confidence. After a few weeks there he began to be more like himself, even wore his favorite pink shirt to school! (This was something he'd been bullied for in the past, so this was a big step.) At that moment, I knew he was really starting to feel safe and accepted at LLP. My kiddo is also not one of the kids who sits still very well. He is fidgety and is still learning to be good at circle time. They have been patient with him and have kept me well informed of his progress. They even let me visit the classroom many times to see what they did at circle time, and helped brainstorm ideas on how to get my child to learn to best behave. They have encouraged me and my child, and have been VERY helpful and very good at collaborating with me to think up ways to best help my son overcome challenges, and learn good behavior. They also have been great at being sure to celebrate his successes and his accomplishments, too. They just hosted the preschool graduation and we were thrilled! They had a nice, big ceremony in a nice venue and they put a lot more thought and planning into the event than I ever expected. It's clear that they really care about the children and parents, and work hard to ensure that the families that attend LLP are happy and know they're appreciated. They really know my son, and all of his likes, dislikes, and his charming qualities and what makes him tick. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.

After all, as parents, the hardest decision to make is who to trust your baby with. Most tend to stay with what they know, because it's comfortable and proven to be safe even if it doesn't fit each child you have as perfectly as the last. Fortunately for my family, we found the best fit. The fit being Academy of Play. The teachers are all caring, emotionally attentive, and tuned in with each child as if they were their own. The documentation, updates throughout the day, regular photos, lesson plans, and development assessments are comforting and reassuring that my baby is well taken care of. The staff is not lazy when it comes to speaking with the children. Your child will fully be immersed in Spanish. There is no bias if the child does not come from a native Spanish speaking environment or if the child does not have a Hispanic/Spanish/Latin background. The classrooms are bright, clean, and filled with tons of art. There is always an instructor led activity and the school invites families to attend musicals, art shows, and more. The chances to be involved especially the parent/teacher meetings regardless of age does ease a lot of mom guilt I tend to have due to needing to work long hours some days. All children are welcomed and loved. I could not speak more highly of the program.

They take such amazing care to form learning around each individual child. No child gets lost in the mix. There is a great student/ teacher ratio and they take the time to find out what works for each kid. Both of my kids were reading before they turned 4 years old. Preschool was amazing and gave my kids such a huge head start with school now. Now that my kids are older, Terri also offers drop off and pick up from their schools and she and her staff help them with homework as well. Summer time break is always a lot of fun too because she puts a very large amount of effort to come up with fun things to do to keep the kids motivated, learning and having fun. No kid is too much of a challenge for Terri and her staff. My two love being part of the TK family. I would highly recommend Terri's Kids to anyone that wants to give their child a great head start in life/ school. And side note: her back yard is amazing. The entire thing was converted to a safe play ground for the kids. Here are some great points: * established in 1982; * loving home environment licensed for 14 children; * accredited preschool teacher plus 3 adult teaching assistants, AMAZING Teacher/Child Ratio! * over 30 years experience of general childcare and preschool teaching; * preschool curriculum that nurtures the whole child and supports the child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth. Emphasis on kindergarten and reading readiness. . .MOST of our graduates are reading phonetically and solving simple math equations before they enter kindergarten! * Spanish classes weekly; * Fantastic fenced outdoor play area with a treehouse, trike track, sandbox and more! * Special needs kids are welcome. * Meals and diapers provided. * Reasonable rates, no registration fee.
