Pam is such a gracious hostess and an amazing cook, if you choose to have her cater your event. You won't want to stop eating!! Not only do they grow their own grapes, make their own wine, and sell it, but they also have a wonderful winery! Now first off, my birthday was yesterday. I turned the big 21 and wanted to do something laid back with all the ladies of my family: clearly we're drinking wine. My heart was all a flutter, yes! I'd found the perfect plan! The kicker: the winery is only open thursday through sunday....my heart plummeted. My liver cried out....we had had our mind made up. But to my absolute amazement, the owners said they would open on a tuesday, just for us. What? You're going to work just so I can drink? Immediate adoration. Once we got there I couldn't stop saying, "oh my god, it's so pretty". The vineyard is out front, then the winery is set up with a beautiful side deck surrounded by trees and further back, a gazebo that had multiple tables for events and outdoor fireplaces for when it gets cooler outside--since they are open year round! The inside is all stone, polished wood and wrought iron. It's so classy, I almost couldn't stand it. Upstairs there are a few tables and viewing box windows where you can see the fermenting and pressing machines they use to make their wine--how cool! They have sheets set out with all of their wines and what they pair well with, where you can taste until your heart is content--and your cheeks get a little rosy. We bought two bottles of Traminette and a pitcher of Peach Sangria, a pitcher of Red Berry Sangria (Cranberry and Strawberry) and a pitcher of Tropical Sangria (Pineapple and Mango) They were all so delicious and the perfect way to bring in a birthday in the middle of a scorching hot summer, nothing tastes better than crisp wine and sweet sangria! If I could give them more than 5 stars...I would!
