The acoustics make it kinda hard to hear what the person across from you is saying, and the wooden chairs are not comfortable at all. Our server was a very bubbly young lady named Emma, who did a great job taking care of us. I had two glasses of wine and we ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer, a house salad each, and we both had the filet entree. I loved it all, but my husband thought there was too much sauce on the sprouts and wasn't crazy about the salad. He loved the entree though. We got the tiramisu for dessert, and took it home with us. The portions are big, so we had some sprouts and I had some steak leftover. I'm looking forward to having it for dinner again tonight!! We will definitely be back. I love that it's in town, and the food is delicious. It's pricey but worth it, especially when you're celebrating something.

This is a gorgeous estate just overlooking the Missouri river near Spanish Lake. This was an old dairy farm a couple generations ago. It is still a working farm today it appears. The wedding we attended was a modest sized outdoor wedding. The gazebo where the wedding took place was on a bluff overlooking the river. There was a tent and air-conditioned bathrooms nearby. What a gorgeous evening. Of course everything had to work out with great weather and no rain. I'm not sure if the food was brought in or organized by the estate. During this wedding, it was set up buffett style. Overall very good. With tender chicken and pasta. Looks like this place is highly rated on the Knot. Overall we had a wonderful experience and a wonderful time at the wedding.

First off, the pricing for this venue feels unfair, in the sense that for everything that you get, I don't think the price is high enough. Secondly, the farm is a true, authentic farm and not some phony location made to look like one. Finally, this property has breathtaking and unbeatable photography spots. My fiance and I were supposed to get married here several years ago. There was an unfortunate turn of events and, long story short, we did not get married. I was devastated. I called and asked for my money back, given my circumstances. I didn't get my money back, and even though it sucked, it's fine, because October 13 is a prime date, and venues don't exist and maintain themselves for by magic (though, Kuhs Farm so beautiful that you'd think it we're). That's just life. Ruining their reputation wouldn't have resolved my pain, financial issues, or any other problems I had going on in my life; it's sad to see that some people left such negative reviews thinking that it would resolve theirs. Whomever is reading these reviews, don't buy the stack of 1-star reviews. Clearly, they don't follow the rest of the trend. Do yourself a favor and tour the venue and talk to the owner (Elizabeth). You'll be happy you chose this place, seriously.

We attended a great concert there recently, which was a Def Leppard Tribute band. It was a great show. We can't wait to get back! They have a full lineup of shows heading into fall. There really aren't any food or snack options, at least not yet. There are plenty of drink choices, including water, soda and wines and seltzers. They also take credit card payments.

Natalie was always quick to respond to questions, and was a great help at making suggestions to reduce/enhance the budget. We had our guest numbers bounce around so it went both directions at different times. They were really flexible in the set-up, entrance and timing. The food was delicious, and they had a huge number of options for appetizers, entrees and sides. I got compliments on all of it from friends that would have no problem saying otherwise. A half-complaint would be the weak drinks, but at a wedding I think that is more of a benefit than not, particularly when someone gets the brilliant idea to do tequila shots. They were super accommodating and very helpful with all of the late changes we had with seating and schedule.

It is very much a full-service small-town neighborhood bar. There's plenty of seating, shuffleboard, several video games including PowerPutt, an ATM, a nice patio area, and several additional rooms.There's also several displays of medals and war memorabilia. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We happened to be here on Veteran's Day and the place was absolutely packed, but the bartender and other employees/volunteers were happy to take some time to talk with us. At the end of our visit we bought 20 drink tokens and passed them around to as many veterans as we could find to thank them for their service. :)
