We have made so many memories so far this summer just coming here the last 2.5 weeks (2 separate camping trips). Met so many nice folks around here and my boys love it here too and the lake. It's just a shame there are some sad activities happening- like Kayaks getting stolen and some rando showed up last night and popped up his camp on a reserved space- and there was a guy who had a fire pit going and was being crazy about that and Fire dept had to be called. These Hosts def do their job but I'm glad they have city support when people are crazy around here.

High in and out traffic all day and night. Picnic table was unsafe very wobbly. The bath room was DIRTY. The toilet seat had dried urine on the seat, the floor was very dirty. The check sheet for cleaning indicated last cleaned 6/28/25 and when I checked out 2 days later still had not been cleaned. Plus was the lake and staff were nice. Resturants highly recommend The North and Monica's for breakfast. My favorite was the Brewery 10 minutes away Pinetop Brewing company. All 3 are dog friendly. I will definitely go.back to the area, but will stay elsewhere.

This was our first time experiencing the Hon-Dah RV Park & Hon-Dah, Show Low, Pinetop area and it…read morewas a pleasant experience. The campground is huge but can definitely use some widening of some of the roads. Some areas are an extremely tight fit especially if you're a BIGGER rig which we are. A great suggestion would be to have a campsite escort for when you arrive to help you locate your space & negotiate the crazy roads in the back half of the campground. As we watched other campers arrive & try to locate their spot it became obvious that the maps provided don't show the extent of confusion involved with locating your spot. Plus the street signs are difficult to read/see in the dark. Every staff member we've been in contact with is polite & friendly providing excellent customer service. It's a great place to stay but amenities are extremely limited but the peace and quiet are in abundance. The casino offers an excellent restaurant which was convenient. Great place to stay if you can look pasted the couple issues before mentioned.

This is one of the most beautiful RV parks I have ever seen! Loads of pine trees! I think every RV…read morespot has several pine trees on it! And this is by far the largest RV Park I've ever seen - I think there are 700 spots! But it doesn't seem crowded at all! The staff has always been very pleasant. Be aware they are not open on Sundays and I could not find a check-in area if they are closed.

I recently spent 4th of July weekend here with a group of friends and really enjoyed the…read morecampground. It's right off the highway, which is very convenient for running in and out of town, but the spots in the back among the trees still make it seem like you're in nature. The campground is a short walk down the road from Rainbow Lake, which is a nice little spot for fishing. I had spot B14 for the weekend, which was larger than most and right next to the water spicket. There are tons of large pine trees throughout the site to provide shade during the heat of the day and campfire tinder. They sell firewood on site, but I think it's chemically treated and produced tons of smoke. I would turn off the main highway and find an empty plot of land and collect you own wood to use for the fire instead. Be sure not to book a spot right next to the toilets...they're the vault toilets that's basically a big hole in the ground and they stink something rotten in the heat of the day when the wind picks up. Overall, a cheap and cheerful way to get out of the desert heat and explore small town Arizona.

The address on the website is wrong so our GPS did not get us to the right location. FYI there is…read moreno lake here. It is right next to the road so noisy all night. We left 5 minutes after we checked in. We tried to cancel our reservation but the website did not work for that either. We called in the next day so they charged us for two nights even though we did not even stay one. We spent the first night in a motel and went to show low lake which actually has a lake.

This is a beautiful park, very peaceful and quiet in a great location to everything. However they…read morecall it a RV Resort but in all honesty it's a vacation village of privately owned park models. They rent out vacant lots for RV guest. The park management was very courteous and yes the WiFi was very fast. There are a couple small issues that may be bigger issues for some like there are no bathrooms and shower but let's be real, if you have a motorhome or travel trailer you really don't need them you should have your own. Trees are a issue for satellite and the cable tv inputs are only for long term guest and residents. The BIG issue is that the park roads are extremely narrow with some corners cannot be made with a large RV. In our short time stayed I met a lot guest that hit trees or rocks on street corners and RV spaces corners. It's very difficult while maneuvering the narrow streets and sharp corners to the your rv spot. This park is not Big Rig friendly. I however have been RVing for over 20 years and did manage extremely carefully and cautiously with a great deal of stress maneuver our 45 foot Prevost H3 through the park. Several streets the management will even warn you that a simple right or even left turns cannot be made. Unfortunately as friendly as the staff was and as beautiful as the park is I would never try my luck again taking our bus there again. We had a great stay but it is only by the grace of God I was able to get in and out without damaging our Coach. In conclusion I highly recommend this park for smaller RV's and trailer but Big Rigs use extreme caution and be for warned.
