One was a bit upscale with lots of activities but less trees or nature. The other was Rainbow Forest RV Park. The park claims to be in the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the world. It is natural and tons of trees. It is close to Rainbow Lake. The sites were not as large though and there were almost no amenities and no organized activities. It is a beautiful place and would be an amazing place to stay. Rainbow Forest RV Park is a good choice to stay. It all depends what you are looking for in a park.

Check out Apache Acres RV Park, the new owners have a lot of new ideas and have cleaned up the park quite a bit, they are good people and are solely focused on helping their residents in the RV Park.

Family just moved in next door to kids who have NO boundaries, and have walked into their house without being welcomed!! Two bathrooms with showers. The park is mostly live-ins with park model units or permanently parked RVs. Here is the disappointing part. They advertise Wifi. It is so weak and spotty we could not log into an email account. Most times could not connect at all. Do not come here if you will depend on supplied wifi. Next...only 20lbs water pressure. Barely enough pressure to brush your teeth. The water pressure at the park showers seemed normal. Other than that...park was clean with lots of friendly retired folks. Once was enough for us.

The office told us the site was easily flooded but it would be repaired by the time we were to come to the resort in July. just in case they offered an alternate site in case the first one was not repaired. Well 4+ months later we called to confirm are arrival in two weeks and were told the site was not repaired and the alternate site was booked. We were offered the site that floods or another site along woodland Ave (very busy). The management has no regard for keeping commitments and building a repeat business. We will forfit our deposit thankful we will not have to spend a month at this place. "Buyer beware" certainaly applies to this establishment.
