AWFUL EXPERIENCE Called AAA for tire change, the tow guy name Jerry arrived but first let's specify, Jerry texted me prior and stated the tire needed to be visible and ready for install upon arrival. Minutes later, I called AAA to notify that I couldn't retrieve the tire from undercarriage area of the car. Jerry arrived, adamant (as per his supervisor) that he could not install nor remove the tire from the under carriage of the vehicle. Over 5 years experience with AAA and many tow truck companies never experienced this before. Jerry walks away, jumps in the tow truck and drives away.. . Within a hour another TOW company arrives removes the tire and replaces it with the spare. Lakeside towing specifically Jerry are lazy, incompetent and not worth a dime. Here's the icing on the cake, Lakeside later lied in order to cover their a***stating that Jerry could not change the flat tire because I had no SPARE..I will not ever do business with this poor excuse of a towing company.... LIARS LIARS and more lies. read more

My small dump truck suddenly and without any warning started smoking very badly and started chugging and chugging. I was able to get off the main highway and coasted into a parking lot. I called Lakeside and within a short time Chris arrived at the scene. Chris immediately put my mind to rest and he went to work so fast I could not imagine how he could do the work he did putting my truck on the tow truck. I can not tell you how impressed I was with Chris's professionalism, demeanor, and how friendly he was! Chris had all the answers and did all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Thank you very much to Lakeside Towing. Excellent service! Our car wouldn't start and it was stuck in the garage. We tried 3 separate jumper cables, YouTube videos, etc., and nothing worked. We finally called Lakeside and they came in less than a half an hour. Isaac was awesome and he got the car fired up without having to tow it away. Fast, friendly, efficient, asked us if we wanted a paper receipt for our records, and explained how long we should run or drive the car to make sure the battery was good to go. I called around to find a tow company that could move my shed and they said they should be able to do it same day. Called this morning and they came out with two guys and the flatbed and moved my 10'X12' shed without issue! The guys were so kind and really went above and beyond to put it where I needed it and get it looking straight with the fence line. Despite some pretty big obstacles, I should add. Very experienced drivers. I would use them again in a heartbeat, I know this wasn't an easy job and I'm so appreciative that they did what they could to help me out of this jam. read more

Not they are located behind the old Oxbow Lake Carwash across from Lakeside Bar. It is run now more by Donny & Danny Jr the twins and there brother Tim. They do a great job and won't rip you off. It was the morning of July 4th and the trailer for our boat blew the ball bearing and our boat and trailer were stranded off of Newton Rd in Commerce. I called Lakeside based on the Yelp score and Donnie answered and told me they'd bring a flat bed and tow the trailer and boat back to our house but it would be sometime in the afternoon. No problem. Well it couldn't have been 12:15 and there is Donnie with our trailer and boat at our house. He even helped my husband put the trailer and boat in the garage so it was out of the way. Absolute worst towing company I've ever came across, lady on the phone at office is very rude and the towtruck drivers are no better as it seems as though they hate their jobs. My boyfriend got into an accident and totaled his car, instead of being kind and let us get our shit out of his car a few days later they decided to throw endless amounts of garbage and junk and other car parts in his car along with someone stealing what we had left in our car. hired these guys to tow my car to and from my mechanics place of business. upon return of the car the driver showed up with a piss poor attitude. instead to lowering the car slowly off the flatbed the driver decided just to pull the e-brake and pile-drive my cars front bumper into the awaiting concrete of my driveway. needless to say the driveway won this battle and as a result i now have a broken bumper. called lakeside right after this happened and reported the damage. i have gotten nothing but the runaround trying to get a hold of the owner of this place since he is the only one who can sign off on these damages. bottom line these guys are a merry band of crooks and con artists. i would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more
