If i could give this place a zero star i would. We lived at these apartments for 8 years and they used to be nice but have went way downhill over the last couple of years.
Office people are rude and tell you about 5 different things and apparently you are supposed to be a mind reader to decipher what is the correct thing versus something they have no clue about. Oh the office people also admitted to changing dates on forms AFTER people signed them, have it on video. Also have on video the office people telling me they went into my apartment without notice because they didn't exactly know my move out date and gave me about 3 of them. They do not know how to do their jobs. They are unhelpful. They lie about what they say so record everything.
Oh also if you want to be warm in the winter, don't move here. Windows are paper thin and ice inside the window and the frame and leak inside the apartment.
If you like peace and quiet also do not move here, the walls are also paper thin and you can hear everything in the apartments next to you, under/above you, outside, in the hallway.
Don't expect to be able to let your children play in the grassy areas either, there's always huge piles of dog shit.
They raise rent $100+ a year for nothing, there is no updating or upkeep that they do to justify this.
Parking is awful, they say each resident gets a parking spot in front of the building but good luck to even get one half the time between there is not enough parking or if you have shitty neighbors that have no common courtesy.
They also go through office "managers" like crazy. They can't ever keep one longer than a couple of weeks, month tops.
Oh and if you like privacy. Avoid at all costs. I've never lived somewhere where they tell you to remove your animals for 6-8 weeks while they do "inspections". They come in the inspect the apartments multiple times a year and feels like an invasion of privacy.
Hell, last year we didn't have our furnace filter changed at all so we had to buy our own since they did not ever do it.
If you want to control your heat and air when you want- avoid. They make you have maintence come in and switch the old pipes over. All you'll be lucky if your air works. We went two weeks without air on the hottest week of the summer a couple of years ago. The office then said "too bad" when ours went out and our son had asthma. We had to call the health department to even get our air semi fixed.
In the winter they DO NOT shovel sidewalks or put salt down. They did nothing with the snow this past year. Your car will sit in the parking lot buried because there is little to none snow removal.
Seriously the worst place i have ever lived. Regret spending 8 years here. Avoid at all costs. They are shady and the place is a dump. They put lipstick on a pig and are charging $1300+ for rent.
When we were moving out the office told us 3 different dates and were super unhelpful so if you do need any help or resolution try their corporate office, they will email you back in a couple of weeks, we were lucky enough to have someone at their corporate office to help us with our move out since the office people are untrustworthy or capable of doing theirs jobs.
