Valley Zipline has their stuff together -- running smoothly on schedule and making sure group sizes remained manageable and fun for everyone. Our main guide (Chris, I think?) was so friendly and encouraging to us first-timers. He was especially great with the kids in our group (10 & 12), clearly explaining the how-to and making sure any fears or anxieties were nonexistent. We had so much fun! The only bummer was that our Living Social deal got us into the Treetop tour only (shorter lines), and by the end I was wanting to zip around all day. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, chill and really into other people having fun doing something new. I would definitely recommend Valley Zipline Tours to anyone, especially those who are new to ziplining!

My family owns a lake house here and I have only good things to say…read more Many residents reside in the hills full time but quite a few families own vacation homes here as well. There are a few different lakes to choose from with the biggest being Lake of the Four Seasons. On this lake, boats, kayaks, canoes, and swimmers are all very common. The others lakes are substantially smaller and are more for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, as well as fishing. As for eating, there are two places to choose from, a clubhouse and a bit more formal dining area. There is also a pool, garden, and golf course on the property. Hide-a-way Hills is surrounded by gorgeous trees and there is a lot of wonderful hiking in and out of the gates. Located about 20 minutes outside of Lancaster, restaurants, shopping, and top notch glass blowing centers are super close to you! Many of the families (including myself) come down for the weekends all year long. Since The Hills is little less than an hour from Columbus it's really easy to come down for a night or two. All and all, whether you are considering purchasing a lake house, nature retreat, or full time home, Hide-a-way hills is a great place to consider!

There's a playground here, with a slide, a few climbable things, a little rock wall, and lots of shady, grassy space to play. Mostly, though, Brooks Park is a good place to walk around and enjoy the scenery. You can stand on a platform deck area that overlooks the wetland and spot the different animals that inhabit it (I saw some fish and frogs). Then stroll along the path on the waters edge to view Buckeye Lake. This is a good spot to stretch your legs and enjoy the nature of this area of Ohio.

We ran into the same issue. Had a family emergency and were unable to reschedule our Monday night booking. We were not asking for a refund just to simply rebook and were told we could not. Our reservation was for a random Monday night, not even a weekend and still couldn't rebook and lost our money. I would strongly encourage people to not book with this company as they seem to have no morals or understanding to people who have "unforeseen circumstances ".

Two low diving boards, and 2 small-but-fast slides keep the kids occupied. There is a good amount of grass surrounding the pool, but you have to supply your own chairs/blanket. In these last hot - very hot - days, the cold water is all I really want, and care, about. It costs $6/day for an adult. This neighborhood pool is great for the hot, lazy days of summer!

In fact, there have been plenty of times we've gone when there were only a handful of other people there. They've done lots of updates and have a nice shaded area for those who prefer it. The pool has a graduated edge at the shallow end which is super nice for the kids. It also has the mushroom shaped fountain that my kids love although it was off for maintenance the last time we went. There are two small slides and they are perfect for both the littler kids and the big ones. They go fast but they're very short and parents can catch the little ones at the bottom. The pool isn't heated so it can be super cold if it's not a hot day but we like it. There are two diving boards and lifeguards throughout all areas of the pool. The price is great at around $6-7 per person with kids 3 and under being free. They allow floats/rafts as long as they're not outrageously sized which makes it fun as most pools do not allow this. I don't believe they have a concession stand...maybe they do and it was closed or maybe I've been too focused elsewhere. Who knows. I've never noticed one so do with that what you will. The bathrooms are clean and have showers/changing space. Parking is ample and shaded in most areas. The only downside to this pool is that they have had zero lounge chairs or seating of any type. We usually just bring a beach blanket and call it a day. Works for us! I was told they would have chairs this year so maybe by now they do. Worth checking out either way. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking to swim with little ones or big kids and don't want a ridiculously crowded pool. Schaffner's is right down the street and makes for a great after-swimming treat! They have thee BEST ice cream and have a drive thru, indoor seating and a nice, newly built patio for outdoor dining. They have a lot more than ice cream and it's all really good. Enjoy!
