She was able to get me in same day within 4 hours for an evaluation with the Dentist. Once I arrived in the office it was very clean ,staff was very friendly and the Dentist assistant talked me through my pain I was experiencing. Antibiotics was prescribed appointment made for 1 week later.2 Root canals done under 2 hours ,pain free . He talked me through the procedure was very gentle . I had such personable and professional care from Dr. Duerson, India, Tiffany, and the office staff. At my initial visit, India explained what she was doing and answered my questions. Dr. Duerson came in and explained that I needed a procedure. He explained my options. I made an appointment. My appointment went well. Dr. Duerson explained everything he was doing and asked multiple times if I was doing well. He gave me detailed oral directions and an information sheet. Tiffany assisted and also checked on me during the procedure and answered questions. She also quickly removed my stitches a week later. It was also thoughtful to have a call later the day of the procedure to see how I was doing. I had no swelling, bleeding, or pain from the procedure. This whole office is amazing. For someone who has had some bad experiences, I was very nervous. They talked to me the whole time, outlined every step, they were so efficient and thorough, they properly numbed the area, and they gave me clear follow up items to make sure I healed and had no pain. If you need any type of work, this is the place to go. They are honest, skilled, kind, and the best experience I have ever had. Both Dr. Duerson and Doarung are fantastic. You can tell Dr. Duerson is just a top skilled professional in his field and Doarung not only has impeccable bedside manner but is incredibly knowledgable. Positive he got me good and numb and I felt as ease there. Negative: Although when I left I was told someone would reach out to me and make sure I wasn't in pain,etc I nvr heard from anyone all weekend. When I went in, everybody in there acted like they had something else they'd much rather be doing. The dental assistant would barely make eye contact and just mumbled whatever she was saying. The dentist said maybe four sentences to me. I don't recall anybody asking me how I felt afterwards. DONT waste your money on a consult there. The office was stark feeling , not clean or relaxing in the least! The dentist( dr Deuson) had an attitude, his body language said it all. Arms crossed , NO compassion and felt like he could barely give me the time of day or answer any questions. , didn't even look in my mouth. Even rudely yelled at the staff next door to keep quiet while I was there. I asked to see his associate not feeling comfortable for him to work on me as I needed a retry Endodontics filling. He said that it would cost me another $90 to see his associated and that I could go someplace else. No bedside manner or professionalism. I wish I had read the reviews prior because my complaint felt legitimate with others (both doctors Deuson and Boom)who experienced the same worst consult of my life. I did not feel like a valued patient. Doctor Boone or Broone left me waiting 6 times. Multiple times with the guard in my mouth and one time with the guard in my mouth for 5-10 minutes. That was very uncomfortable. At the end he didn't even tell me about a crown or a filling. He just said up front they will do or send information to my dentist. I also don't know if I need a follow up with them to check out the root canal later? They people including the doctor were friendly, but it felt like a McDonald's drive thru. I found him to be an extremely competent and careful practitioner, and also a consummate professional who is sympathetic to his patients' needs and well-being. I was somewhat familiar with Dr. Duerson before visiting him, as my husband had previously had a positive experience when Dr. Duerson performed a root canal for him in order to save his crown. I was referred to Lakewood Ranch Endodontics for a redo of a root canal on a tooth that already had a crown. Dr. Duerson did a very thorough job in removing the crown and cleaning out the root. What a positive experience it was dealing with Dr. Duerson! If I could give this dentist a zero rating I would! Worst Dentist ever! I never take time to write reviews but I want to save people the hassle and their money. I was having problems with a root canal that possibly was going bad and was having swollen gum over the area. The dentist talk to me for two minutes and charge me $90 and said nothing was wrong with my root canal . He was wrong!!!!!!!The root canal failed and the crown fell out so he was absolutely wrong. I asked for a refund and the man I talk to was very rude and said he would have to talk to the dentist and get back with me. I waited four days and never heard from anyone so I called back and the guy lied and said he tried to call me back and he never did. He said the dentist would give me a free exam I don't know what the point of that is because the root canal failed and I lost the tooth and I was trying to stop that from happening so now that it happened what would be the point of me going back in. They would not give me a $90 refund which worries me even more. It makes me wonder if they are in financial hardship but regardless the dentist was terrible and if he was the last Dentist on earth I would never go back to him.When I told the guy on the phone I was going to let people know how I was treated he said you do what you Gotta do that's not very good business ethics! read more

The doctors are excellent. I have had two procedures, one with each of the dentist. Both times the procedue went very smoothly and painlessly. The office staff has been extremely rude, not sure I have ever been talked to or treated so rudely by a professional office. One of my coworkers overheard one conversation and after getting off phone they could not believe that it was a dental office was talking to me in the matter. I am a nurse in a hospital if I ever spoke to a patient that way I would be fired. I love the dentist and would trust them to do procedures, but difficult to ever go back after being talked to rudely and treated like I was an idiot. read more

I finally got a decent, no nonsense dentist to relieve me of a very bad toothache. It took a root-canal, but it was one of the best (and I've had many!) I've had, and he put in a permanent filling at no "extra" charge. It still cost $895 but that's less than the going rate. read more

I was referred to Dr Craig Duerson because I had a lower molar that was infected & needed attention. I had already seen my dentist & an oral surgeon . I was continuing to have excruciating pain in the tooth, jaw, chin, & tympanic area. I also had a nodule the size of a half dollar that is palpable & close to my throat (AIRWAY) . I filled out all computer information & was "tagged" by the assistant with a note "no ins" - NO INSURANCE. That was absolutely unnecessary. Dr #CraigDuerson entered my room with his hands on his hip, pulled his mask down, & wanted to know why I was there. #DrCraigDuerson did NOT wash his hands ! He didn't review any of my patient information & he did not LISTEN. He showed no empathy or compassion. He did use 1 of his instruments to poke @ my bridge & I said "ouch!" Dr C Duerson replied, "don't worry I won't do that again " He had no problem with purposely inflicting pain upon me. I started to get tears in my eyes due to pain . Dr #CraigDuerson suggested that I should go to the County Health dentist & I refused. I have been to the County dentist years ago & she was not a good dentist. Also, I did call him a dentist (no disrespect intended) when we first met & that made him angry. He informed me that he was an #Endodontics - a Dr that specializes in root canals. I told him I know what an ENDODONTICs does & I repeated the definition. There really was no more communication . I was shocked how cruel, inpatient, unprofessional, & greedy ! It was all about the money ! Dr #CraigDuerson said, " I can't help you !! " as he walked out of the room. First thing they made sure to tell my husband was that our limit was up on our insurance and that we would be paying 1,000.00 for his root canal!! We got there today!! The staff was rude!! The technicians were awful and my husband won't be going back!!! He was treated so badly and he had already been in pain for 6 days, on an antibiotic for 4 days, then they gave him the appt. for today and the doctor would not come out and see him. He had an x ray done at our regular dentist's office the day before and they made him the appt. They said that x ray wouldn't work for them!!
