We attended the 2025 SGJA Judges' Cup. Hosted by EVO Gymnastics. I'm not sure if all competitions do this but for this particular meet, they charged an admission fee which they accepted payment with cash only. Admission Fee (CASH ONLY). Adults: $25.00: Children (4 - 12 yrs): $15.00. The venue was very spacious. It was a bit crowded when we arrived and we went upstairs to observe until my kid's competition start time. If you can snag a seat in the front row upstairs, then you're golden. Otherwise, it can be difficult to see over so many people up there. Just depends on where you're trying to view your child during competition. Once we started, we went downstairs to admit him and then stayed down there to watch. It was a better view down here. Our family stayed upstairs and were able to get front row seats once the first session ended. The kids competed on the floor level with different events such as: floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. After the competition, they gave out the awards. It was a nice set up for the awards with the balloon arch for decoration and the winner's podiums. Fabulous venue with a nice set up. Our first gymnastics meet was very organized and executed flawlessly. Good times!

Upon entering the facility you stop at a station for a temperature check prior to entering the gym itself. There is hand sanitizer around and readily available and a mask rule. The facility is large and beautiful and there actually is a CORA Physical Therapy location on site. I have met the owner Lydia, and I appreciate how she operates her facility. Our two year old began preschool gymnastics in the "Gymbie" class with Miss Nickie who she adores. The class is well structured and has predictable routines and the activity setups vary from week to week. I love that their is variety from week to week so it keeps the content and mastering of skills fresh and not mundane or repetitive. Miss Nickie is amazing and so patient and nurturing. EVO Athletics offers gymnastics classes for both men and women of all ages, skill levels and commitment ability. The classes include: Cheerleading, Tumbling, and Stunt, Ninja Warrior, Open Gym, Adult Fitness, Field Trip, Home School Classes. During COVID era there are no toddler, youth, or ninja open gyms. Our daughter started out attending as a shy and timid two year old who had very little interaction with adults outside her family (as she does not attend preschool or daycare), and became an enthusiastic participator who pushes herself to acquire new skills. We are so happy with EVO Athletics.

I am a teacher in the Sarasota School District. My son did a week of camp this summer with Capo…read morekids and really enjoyed himself. I first learned about Capo kids when I saw a group of their campers at Urfer park earlier this summer. (Each day of camp includes a different field trip, such as the park, bounce house, laser tag, pool, etc.) I was immediately impressed by not only the kindness and camaraderie the children showed to one another, but also by the incredible maturity and aptitude of the two counselors I saw in action. I liked what I saw so much that I asked the counselor who they were, and went right online to check out what their program was all about. What I had witnessed at the park all made perfect sense when I read about the values instilled within this martial arts summer camp, such as the importance of having a good attitude and character, making the right choice, giving 100%, doing the right thing, and so on. On his first day of camp, I continued to be dazzled as another young boy greeted my son with a smile and a handshake and showed him where to put his things. The counselors were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable that I was leaving him in good hands. Each day my son came home happy and tuckered out. By the end of the week he had learned some fun new martial arts moves that he was very excited to show off. We both look forward to future classes and camps with Capo Kids!

My son was a left handed kid and somehow now a right handed boy. My boy never noticed or commented on skin color until after attending this school. Also when my boy came home with bruises, why would you all not find it a priority to get me a copy of the daily video surveillance unless you all caused the bruise. If you weren't responsible for it, wouldn't you want to get that video out ASAP?? They will come off supper happy and excited to teach your kiddos, once they have your $$ that will all change. Everything above is my personal experience, so do your own research. The photo below is my sons bruise, and one of the "teachers"
