There is kayaking and tubing available down the hill and the cabin is hunter friendly. Some cabins in the area need a 4wd to get to but not this one, it's right off the highway. All the amenities of home with a full kitchen, free wifi, DirectTV, DVD collection and the private back porch and patio have treats of a fire pit and outdoor hot tub. They even provide the firewood, kindling and a lighter. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway for two. Perhaps some time ago they were in better shape, but they clearly have been neglected for a long time. The description on the website states that the cabins were recently renovated, but it is clearly incorrect, as they are in serious need of maintenance. The photos do not match the accommodations at all. The cabins reek of mold and mildew. The carpeting is dirty and old, and for some reason there is carpet in the bathrooms (more mildew). The air conditioners were practically clogged with dust, and there was dust on the walls and on the ceilings. The A/C barely put out enough air and took a long time to cool the cabins. The cabins felt very rickety and unsafe, especially the decks. Locks on doors were flimsy. There was a hole in the wall of one of the cabins we rented. Showers did not work right and the bathtubs did not drain well. The beds were small and uncomfortable. While there were screens on the windows, there were such large gaps in the frames that bugs could easily get in; as a result, the cabins were full of them (ranging from moths to spiders to mosquitoes and flies). There are multiple unfinished or ruined buildings on the property. The pond closest to the cabins is almost dry and is more like a swamp that breeds mosquitoes. The other pond is a bit bigger, but very overgrown and dirty. To add insult to injury, Kyle, the man assigned to take care of the cabins during our stay appeared to be under the influence of drugs for the majority of the time and behaved unprofessionally towards me and my friends, at one point walking out on the deck of his cabin with no clothes on while we were having dinner. Mansfield Woods Vacation Cabins is among the worst establishments I've ever stayed at. I would never again stay there, and advise others to stay away as well. I lodged multiple complaints against Mansfield Woods with the state agencies.

We stayed in the Ferguson Homestead; at almost 100 years old - it mentally swelt us away to archaic family times. Even campfires (in firepit or fireplace) seem historic. It has 6 beds and 3 levels, but only 2 bedrooms afford any level of privacy - if your party is modest, they should be family. The main living area is perfect for games, meals, and lounging - but the wrap around screened-in porch is the highlight of any evening! *Note: possibly to eliminate Covid-19 worries, there are no condiments, foil, Saran-wrap, or similar leftovers in the kitchen. There are towels & TP in the bathrooms, but the fridge & larder are empty. Bring everything. Bear Creek offers swimming & limitd fishing on the beautiful property, and the Buffalo River offers more water less than 5 miles away! We loved this place, and hope to return!

I called got a very friendly southern gentleman on the other end Andy, who is also the owner. I was at ease after speaking with him and booked the cabin. My wife and I arrived to a quite little town just a mile or 2 from branson landing, it is very close yet felt miles away, beautiful cabins and scenery and we'll Andy is about one of the nicest fellows I've met. Andy and his dogs greet you and you do the paper work right there at his home office and he will share all the cool spots to go that aren't the tourist crap. The cabins are amazing, comfortable, clean, just awsome. So very happy we stayed here and we will definitely be back. Great job Andy, and thank you for the memories.

The resort is beautiful and overlooks the gorgeous Table Rock Lake. We stayed in a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom unit in the lodge with a full kitchen, fireplace, and balcony. It sleeps 6 people comfortably with a sleeper couch in the living room. It had everything we needed! There was no shortage of things to do on-site from daily activities, mini golf, pools/hot tub, giant chess outside, cornhole, and access to some of the Big Cedar Lodge amenities nearby. I also appreciated that they have a shuttle available to take you to the activities house and Big Cedar when you need. We took advantage of two fun daily activities - mug painting and candle making. The crafts were simple but fun! The staff who ran the activities and drove the shuttle were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and I can't wait to visit again!
