Dr. Lotem and Dr. Steve are by far some of the best people I have met in addition to being knowledgeable and caring doctors. They take the time to educate you about your body and come up with care plan that works for you. I came to them practically unable to walk because of severe foot pain and they had me pain free in 2 weeks. We went on to have regular care throughout my pregnancy which was enjoyable and pain free and I credit that to the care I received from Dr. Lotem who specializes in pregnancy. I found this practice through a referral. They had a first time patients super nice offer that included x-rays, exam and adjustment. The first visit took about 1 hour. You must fill out some forms, the nurse will roll your back with some device that tells you the problem areas, the doctor will come next to go over the details of the roll results, the x-rays are followed and then you will need to come back to discuss the x-rays results. Watch a slide show about chiropractic help and go over a payment plan and finally get your FIRST adjustment. They advised you bring your spouse to go over the financials. At this visit, i came alone and spent 1 hour and a half watching the video with someone else right next to me. They offered me 3 payment options, which after consulting with the person that referred me, seems the same no matter what your problem areas are: Pay in installments i.e, $2k for "x" number of visits (payments are divided over a period of time); Pay in full or Apply for Care Credit (basically pre-pay for the services but you get the most discounts) and pay as you $45 per visit (most expensive option). They are 3 employees totaled in this practice. Dr. Steven, very sweet, seems like he knows his stuff and compassionate. The ladies in the front were just nice. I made an appointment for my second adjustment at 6pm. I checked-in to wait 35 minutes with no adjustment. They were super busy and signing up new people. Obviously, the new sign-ups were very important and there was no balance between the patients waiting to get adjusted and the new ones. I decided to get up and tell my waiting time to one of the ladies in the front desk. Suddenly, with a straight face, she explained they have been busier than usual. No apologies. I had to leave. As of today, no one hasn't even contact me with an apology or explanation. I gave 2 stars because the facility was clean (although it can be crowed at times since is a small space) and the doctor explained my adjustment. Complaints regarding: Pre-payment for services not yet rendered and for a 5 minute adjustment. When do you pre-pay to see a doctor? What if this practice shuts down? What if the adjustments don't work? Also who gets adjusted for 5 minutes? How can a real doctor assess what your progress is and really look at you carefully? Save your money folks. Most chiropractors charge the day of the service and after the service is rendered. Most chiropractors take their time and an adjustment typically takes 20 minutes on average. read more

I have been going to Lako Family Chiropractic for a year this month. I had hip pain so bad I could hardly get out of the car. For those that bashed them for requiring x-rays and a family consultation it only proves they are complete and professional Chiropractors. Seldom have I ever seen an MD that did not do blood work. The same with a Chiropractor .... they need a baseline to work with. All that being said, they have made it possible to live pain free. They also treated my 90 year old Father-in-Law who was visiting and then found a practice that used the same techniques for him in Kansas. They also treated my daughter who suffers from Fibromyalgia.....after 3 visits in one week she was pain free for the first time in years. If you want to cure your pain this is the place. read more

Be prepared to have to jump through a lot of hoops before you can get an adjustment. I made an appointment due to severe back pain and assumed when they said I would "come in and get fixed right up" that I would get an adjustment. Before my appointment I asked what the $150 would cover and he said "everything you need for today". After rolling something up my spine to check for subluxations I asked again what my $150 was going to cover. "Everything we are going to do today AND your adjustment at your next appointment". After a few checks of my range of motion, I was completely surprised when she then told me we were finished for the day. Next, I would need to go down the street to a different location and pay another $50 for x rays, and come back at either 1pm on a Thursday or 7:30 on a Tuesday night for a 60-90 minute group meeting (preferably with my spouse) to review chiropractic care and then my individualized care plan. AFTER we had our 60-90 minute meeting, AFTER I drove to a second location and paid $50 more for x rays and AFTER I agreed to a "treatment plan", THEN I could get my first adjustment. I'm giving it 2 stars because it was a clean and nice office but they were not upfront at all about the fact I was going to be leaving without an adjustment, or that the $150 did not cover an adjustment or the additional x rays they required. I've seen chiropractors for 15 years and the really good ones don't need all the extra tests and x rays. I am a stay at home mom with two kids and don't have time to jump through all these hoops before I can even get my first adjustment. After I left this office I found an amazing chiropractor that saw me the same day, gave me an incredible adjustment which included some physical therapy and didn't require any extra tests-for half of what I spent at Lako -where I left with an aching back and a headache from the frustration of being led on a goose chase. read more

Please accept my assessment of Lako Chiropractic as a "Teachable Moment" and a "Constructive Criticism" , Every Set Of Rules has exceptions and Every Policy has an isolated circumstance that allow Dedicated Business Owners the opportunity to shine, and create a distinction between "Great Service & poor Service". I'm concerned for the next potential Family that might be considering Lako Family Chiropractic as their family physicians. I met this Lovely Couple at an Animal Adoption Event on Earth Day 2017. They had a booth set up to showcase their incredible practice. Clearly both Dr. Steven and Dr. Lotem had the charm and knowledge that won over my daughter and I. My main objective was to seek assistance for my wife and mother of my child who experiences discomfort. I was told by Dr. Steven at the event "We Thrilled to join you on your Journey towards health and Vitality ". I did my very best to let Dr. Steven know that it was "His" delivery, charm and attitude that made me want to introduce him to my wife to help her. And ultimately be our family physician even though we would pass by at least 10 to 15 Chiropractic offices that are closer to my home and wife's job. He would be "Our Guy" He then blindsided our trust and confidence at the very last minute. I happened to make it on time, but my wife and daughter ended up being 25 minutes late of our scheduled appointment time. Our appointment time was 5:30 and she walked in and 5:55 due to all of the Traffic. Don't get me wrong...My wife and I totally "Get it", punctuality is very important. My overall sentiment is this. You don't wait until a women and child who just drove 1 hour and 20 minutes with every intention to make it on time (even left work early and got child out of after school care early), then sit and watch my wife fill out all her paper work, then accept our payment, and then TURN US AWAY!!!! because she got caught in major traffic delay. My sentiment as a fellow small business owner is When Building a Relationship with a potential life-long client and potential friend in business, and referral base, sometimes its wise to weigh out the probability that this would probably never happen again. It was our first run...and we could have made adjustments to our departure time from across town or scheduled a different day of the week. It would have been nice to see a man who has the power and entrepreneurial mindset to say "Since this is my practice, and I have the ability to open and close as I choose, and this is your very first time here, and I appreciate that you chose to come here rather than visiting any other office that is clearly much closer to your home, id like to stay a few extra minutes to at least help you, The wife and mother who is experiencing the most issues. And then schedule your husband and child for another day. Since this is an isolated issue, i want to do my part to help you today since you drove so far" Dr. Steven Blew it.... instead, he stayed behind the desk in his chair and told us there was nothing he could do....and didn't even offer a refund on my payment. A payment which was clearly made out of Pure Patronage for a Local hardworking husband and wife Company of which I was very inspired by meeting them. As I said in the beginning. I'm not complaining. It's life, and I will certainly get over it. I'm just concerned for other families who may be treated in a similar manner by Dr. Steven. Hopefully after reading this something is learned. The lesson. Make an effort to Accommodate every 1 of 10 or 1 of 20th new family that helped to make your business a business in the first place. We have nothing without Loyal Clients.
